After a few weeks of testing, the issue started to occur again. The OHR sensor turns off without warning and does not turn back on until the watch is removed from the wrist or a forced restart is performed. [image: 1766748113856-img_5821.jpeg]

@Tomas5 yes, you’re right, I actually never thought about how one could interpret the “like / dislike “ button in different ways to communicate in different ways. For me it always was/is a way to show my respect/thankfulness for helping others or telling something interesting or just about being communicative, and I only dislike rude or respect less posts. I may be quite too sensitive to respectless behaviour, which is maybe rooted in my martial arts background ( In most traditional martial arts showing even the slightest bit of disrespect in tournament e.g rolling your eyes or just waving with your hand normally results in direct disqualification). I may think different about dislikes now - thanks

Hi everyone, and Merry Christmas! Because it’s very cold outside, I decided to put my road bike on the hometrainer and train indoors. My bike is equipped with a power2max Type S powermeter, which I normally use without any issues with a Wahoo Elemnt Bolt. Now I tried to pair the same powermeter with my Suunto Race, but when I search for new sensors in the connectivity menu, the Suunto Race does not detect it at all. I tried pedaling to wake up the power meter, but still nothing appears (the power meter is detected immediately by my Wahoo Elemnt Bolt, so it doesn’t seem to be a hardware issue). Has anyone else experienced this issue with the Suunto Race and power2max powermeters? For reference, my old Suunto Ambit2 S used to work perfectly with the same powermeter. Also, my Garmin HRM Dual works perfectly at the same time with both my Wahoo and the Suunto Race. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

I have an update. I chatted with Suunto, but they were not very helpful to be honest. Said will review the logs and discuss it with the team. But if issues persisted to send the watch back so they can check it. I did a factory reset and did not work either. I then reverted to the previous SW version and apparently that made it work. Granted it has been only one swim, but there were 0 issues with the laps.

Está claro que esto es un fallo recurrente. A mí Sunnto Run con el que llevo algo más de una semana le pasa lo mismo. De 9 días he recibido el informe matinal 3 veces

Never mind! I just needed to add an interval display in the sport mode for the intervals setup to appear.

@ryhoage Same issue here, in my case MIUI 13 on Android 12. The phone reboot when bluetooth is disabled. I understand if it were a crash or something similar, but reboot the phone is a serious issue that must be fixed.

Hello, today we noticed this issue on my wifes 5 Peak. Unfortunatelly it has already 2.5 year so it is not under warranty anymore. And she is light user, and not wearing it while washing dishes, showering, sleeping etc. Only around 9hours a day during working days only and then while cycling/hiking but thats few times a month. Good day, I have a Suunto Spartan Ultra and have had it for 8 years. From my last Samsung UI update my watch has not synced my daily steps with the Suunto app. I have tried the following but not success: Restart phone and watch. Reinstall Suunto App Force stop Suunto App Unpair watch from phones Bluetooth and reconnect. Gave all items on Suunto App permission. Made sure Suunto APP and phone is not on energy saving mode. If anyone has a solution please assist. Kind regards

@sky-runner said in It's 2024 - Anyone Still Training Only With An Ambit?: It was more accurate than most watches at the time a decade ago, but compared to modern watches with dual-frequency GNSS, A3P accuracy is mediocre. Can’t disagree, but I still like them

I haven’t used my D5 since January; I got it out of the cupboard today to charge it as it’s dead, but I can’t remember how to attach the charger. I’ve searched the manual but it just says ‘attach’, it doesn’t explain how. There’s a red thing on the end of the cable which I seem to recall ‘snaps’ onto the watch, but right now it’s not snapping onto anything - it doesn’t stick to the back of the watch like I seem to remember. Have I got this totally wrong? Please can someone explain in simple terms how to attach the charger?! Thanks

@maszop To stop an activity it is effectively two button press but one on the bottom one (pause to option screen) and then the middle button (stop activity). It is not so an accidental pattern, isn’t it?

The 145 is LT1, that is the upper limit of Z2 in the classic model. Maybe it wasn’t the best day. Thanks for the explanation Today, my heart rate was definitely 5-10 beats higher than last week, so this could be a good sign. I ran 5:0/km with a heart rate of 146-154 instead of the usual 135-142, so I immediately felt that today 5:0 was too fast for Z1/Z2. I’ll let you know after my next workouts. Regarding your intervals - 100m is too short for ZoneSense to be effectively used. It needs about 2 minutes to correspond to your conditions. OK With the top button you can cycle through 4 different screens of ZoneSense. One of them gives you HR and Pace, what I often use… Didn’t know, thanks!

@sky-runner maybe a silly idea, but what about using multisport ? entering an aid station you switch to any mode you customized for “”“pause”“” at station, and switchback to main one when going out ? if times data are setup correctely, you can have total time and/or current activity time (run or pause time in you case), previous pause and previous “stats”, etc… and you will have all details in SA after.

@larrybbaker After posting this feature request yesterday I googled if this might already exist for suunto, because I knew that it exists for garmin (tried to find an image of it, but couldn’t find one). I found someone in this forum who suggested something similar for the suunto vertical and the user created a nice gif how it could look like: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/10057/current-heart-rate-on-the-map The information shouldn’t cover too much from the map, but some sorf of indicator could be at the edge of the screen.
