left-handed owner of Suunto Race here, wearing it on the right arm. I’ve only had this watch for a couple months (summertime only, no long sleeves) hence had no issue (yet ?) with clothes.
So far, the only issue with the rotating crown is with my arm hair that gets into the crown, especially while exercising when I’m sweaty. I guess this is not specific to left-handed people, but since you were asking 😉

Totally agree! The missing ability to broadcast heart rate is the only reason I did not yet purchase the Race S 😞

About guides and apps not work together, I knew. I guess it is because both are S+ apps practically and only one S+ can run in a time.
But anyway, I really wait when Suunto extend this at least to run two of them. 😉

@babychai I see. Well, so far there’s no music support in Suunto watches apart from S7. You can control the music from your phone via the watch, but it has to be in bluetooth range.

This is correct. Suunto watches (starting with the Spartan ultra,I believe) had a sport mode called “CrossFit”; it was later renamed “Cross training” because of trademark issues.

@isazi It now works on my Peak 9 Pro. I used Climbing and added a new personal mode, turned of gps as I use it indoors. It is quite okay but maybe it would be better to choose a different sport mode as base.

I checked with devs there were technical reasons why it was left out. Reported that users complain about that

@VoiGAS The TICKR X is no longer sold as far as I’m aware. Just the TRACKR HR and TICKR FIT, both of which have no such functionality.

@far-blue The 9PP doesn’t have dual band either.

@Egika Result is not exactly the same since it wipes everything (including logbook, sport modes, navigation and general settings, …) with SuuntoLink.
“Power Off” from service menu shutdown the watch and wipes personal data, time, A-GPS and reset default displays
“Soft reset” (which turns off the watch) only wipes A-GPS, time and reset default displays.
Logbook, Sport modes, navigation and general settings are not affected.

And being able to zoom the alti profile 😄

Underwater precision is not the issue. Pressure changes magnitudes bigger than in the atmosphere with altitude.
It is the total detection range of the sensor that is limiting it.
You have a fixed bit resolution of the sensor in total. To get high precision altitude resolution, you need to waste a lot of bits for under water.
With S9PP this has been re-dialed.
Not so for older models.
Any extension under water will reduce resolution above.

@Łukasz-Szmigiel I know, but I believe that Vietnamese is not supported by Suunto at the moment.
