@Brad_Olwin No, that is not the normal behavior or how it was pre-update (says the guy with the SV1 and 9PP). It should show the next alarm regardless of whether it will occur on the following day. This happened once before after an update (2.35.34 Q2). The issue at the time had to do with repeating alarms only. If I recall, it was quickly fixed with either a hotfix or the next update.

@snow said in New firmware 2.53.42: You need to start the activity Ah! Yes… That works. This was incredibly convoluted… Thanks. Hope my bumbling around will help other users. Edit: Everybody is talking about the Menu only accessible from the Map screen itself (the 3 lines/hamburger icon). Edit 2: And it works even without any Route loaded. Great!

@freeheeler said in Recovery: watch and SA differ: @emkei me too… but I found a workaround: in movescount suunto promoted the phone as an extended watch display: that’s what I do. I use the watch mainly to track and record and look at the data in the app only. which data is correct? I don’t know. but it is where I see a long term trend. and I don’t want to worry Yes, this is probably the only way - but still awkward as Suunto is the only company I know having this issue. Unfortunately, this was not the only reason I left - there were differences between watch, iOS app and iPadOS in: steps TSS Recovery Resources HRV And sleep tracking was really off (especially if ready at bed, or working at a standing desk) The thread: Recovery watch & App

@sky-runner Something similar happened to me a while ago, due to the depleted battery of my armband (Polar Verity Sense). much better behavior would be to automatically switch to internal HR. if I’m not mistaken, such behaviour is already included with the Suunto Run, and it would be great to have it.

A soft reset after using the chest strap seems to mitigate the issue… Edit: yesterday at 6 pm I updated the watch (version 2.53.42); the battery was at 40%. I went for a 30-minute run wearing the chest strap and didn’t perform a soft reset afterwards. This morning at 6 am the battery was at 36% (sleep, hrv enabled). So far, so good, I’d say

I had the same issue last year with my Race S after trying to charge it in a hotel room usb plug. It took the watch several attempts to restore the firmware. All I can suggest is to keep trying and hopefully it will finally restore. I’ve haven’t had any issues with the watch since then.

@jnwllm Hello, I have the same problem. I’m in Brazil, South America. If someone has an original black strap and wants to sell it, let’s talk about it.

@ckrook said in Can’t connect to gps out of nowhere: I live in Sweden so I’m quite positive that I am not victim to such spoofing. Right, and you can also check GNSS signal with phone or other device. Looks like you might want to send it to service, especially if it is still under warranty.

@matt-r Hi, yes I have the same problem with the stress values after charging. My Race S shows “stress” in the Daily Resources screen and the resources rapidly decrease. After a night the watch returns to the correct readings. HR readings are quite good at the same time.

@raven said in Wahoo Kickr Core 2 speed and distance: @Dwartus said in Wahoo Kickr Core 2 speed and distance: Thank you for your proposal, for that topic when I run outside with my bike, I add a Suunto “Bike POD” which provide to the watch cadence ans speed. Also, I remember that during the run the average speed and speed is given by the “Bike POD”, but at the end of the actvity, GPS data are used to give average speed and distance. Nevertheless, you understood that I didn’t connect/used this Suunto “Bike POD” for Home Trainer activity (also save “Bike POD” battery because unmount). Thanks Oops, I missed this in my last reply. If you already have a speed/cadence sensor you use outdoors, then yes try that as an additional sensor for your indoor rides and it should work. Yes ! Thanks for the hint, I didn’t think about that because actually not installed because Home Trainer period As a conclusion, the Suunto watch Race/Race S (perhaps other models) are not able to catch all the data broadcasted by Wahoo trainer, only power meter can be read (but not as a Suunto “Power POD” because not possible to calibrate it), it’s too bad Thank you
