@jjorgemoura Ha Ha Ha, let’s exchange watches … The biggest problem is that support agents have no clue about technical issues, and they dont reply on time either. Finally, you give up. When I escalate this issue to the agent and ask what should do with this watch when it’s not working or you dont share how to make it work, and a strange reply I got from the agent: “Do whatever you want to ‘sell it’ if you want to when the watch is not even 30 days old.” I dont know who to escalate this to.

@isazi thanks for the explanation! But apparently then polar itself and Garmin use the exact same filter/algorithm (100% overlap of data, maybe already filter applied by the h10. Is that possible?). Only Suunto uses another one. Which one though is more correct… At least, the values from Garmin and polar seem more realistic to me!

@Gunnar no, as I said, this is not possible on my watch/with my phone. The watch for me groups the messages per chat and only shows the last message per chat. All previous unread messages from the chats are not shown anymore. You can have tausend new and unread messages in one chat, but the watch shows you “1 unread” and shows you only the last one. With this behavior and the cut off after a few words, the watch is nothing more than an vibration/tone alert.

@isazi, Any idea why - 1, I found strange behaviour of the watch, no matter what battery performance I set on my custom biking activity, after every activity battery goes back to the “Performance” option. Generally, I keep settings to ultra. This will lead you to force-check everything again and again before you start the activity. (Basically, it does not save my custom settings for the battery)

@raspy Hi, I have a similar experience - Race S registered like one out of 5 waves. And I also did not know about S+ app just started surfing activity and tried to catch waves.

Hi there, after the update my race s was like a new watch, I have to configure everything. My biggest concern is that I now have a mismatch between watch and app and that all prevous training data, HRV etc is gone. It is not reasonable for me why the data is not transfered from the app to the watch! HRV data is available, also Training etc. But now I have different data between watch amd app amd this is not very smooth. Did anybody knows this behaviour? Can somebody give me an explanation or help to this? Thanks!

When i went to sleep, everything was fine. When i woke up, and wanted to put my Race S on my wrist (i don’t sleep with my watch), I needed to select the language, let the watch know my weight and length and needed to make a new connection with the Suunto app. Could still see my old Spartan in the app. I do not let Android automatically update my apps. Pixel 7, Android 16 Suunto app: 5.3.7 (5003007) Current software watch: 2.44.46

@Fenr1r Hi, thanks for your app advice as well as for your confirmation re coordinates format. I’ll check if the app can convert also. Nd with some luck, the race committee could provide both coordinates formats to ease their input!

funny…for weeks it hasn’t shown the data. now i made this post and today after running it shows the data. So this topic has been resolved.

Changed the orignial strap to a more airy one and sometimes get problems with the charger contacts. So I switch wirsts for the night or sometimes during day.
