@oni0n said in Weird behaviour Ruunto Run + Polar Verity Sense: Again, to clarify, the HR data recorded by Suunto came from the Polar ohr. It’s just that Suunto added occasional HR spikes. Weird. Unless it’s something closely related to Verity Sense, I would expect something similar on the H10 or Coros HRM as well, but that’s not the case afaic. Are u the same guy on r/Polarfitness?

@zagazoo said in ZoneSense bug for Runs?: @Brad_Olwin Thanks Brad - I’m on IOS app and release version but so far only two test walks have displayed. ZS Can you provide an image of ZS working on your watch? You are sure the belt is connected and sending good data? I have not had a problem with this.

@santo75 Kind of agree. The vibration is quite weak, especially on autolap.

@Jervin-Reyes I think the Suunto Run was already great when I bought it this summer, but I am pleasantly surprised with the number of updates and the contents of these updates (especially the last one). I’m excited to see what future updates might bring (Vertical2/Race2 watch faces I hope), but actually hope they will update the app with a dark mode and improve the sleep tracking scoring.

@Marcus-Goebel even though I always take the value with a grain of salt, I see no troubles on my part

I’ve been using version 3.22.18 for a couple of weeks now. The good news is that treadmill mode is finally working properly, but unfortunately, the watch is rebooting more frequently. It usually restarts after the second lap during interval training sessions.

@herlas Yup, the only numbers I still trust on my watch are time, distance & speed.

@owend said in Dropping heart rate belt: I had a feeling this might be some sort of timing bug when there are pauses (auto or manual) in an activity afaic no pauses at all. That said it only happened once so far…

I am more than satisfied with Run’s performance, but unfortunately when it comes to sampling during sleep (and day), we are not quite there yet. I simply don’t trust it anymore (HRV…). e.g. Last night, my Holter monitor, a medical device, recorded values between 46 and 54 bpm, so I can’t explain the 67 bpm and all the other peaks. Furthermore, the minimum value recorded of 48 bpm is terribly wrong. I already reported this issue in June, but unfortunately, I never received any feedback, not even here… [image: 1762863575790-screenshot_20251111-130624.png]

@enriqueescoms The 9 Peak Pro could be an option. On the downside it has no maps compared to Race S. But if she wants Maps its a lot more expensive in the Garmin Ecosystem than Suunto

You need the latest version of the Suunto App. From there you can upload more faces to the watch. It was mentioned is the release notes of this weeks Suunto Run firmware update.

@Hari-Seldon ok I have it, while I was testing without running really most likely distance was too short, today after proper training I have got calibration at the end. It still looks different than on race or vertical but it’s ok does the job well.

@Hari-Seldon said in First impressions: @ShinJCD said in First impressions: believe me, before I had a “normal” Huawei Fit 3 and the comparison is simply merciless On my side, I keep seeing good results even in difficult conditions. A few days ago, my son ran with me and we both recorded almost identical tracks (slightly better on his V2 though). On the other hand, if the problem were severe, I think we would be reading several complaints about it. take a look at this post: for me this is not acceptable for a €250 sports watch (even if it is an entry level one): I repeat, my old Amazfit Neo is clearly superior in terms of GPS tracking quality

@DelHand said in Sunnto Run HR reads too high: @zagazoo Readings are consistent with my Wahoo chest strap most of the time. However, at some points during the run, my measured HR will increase from around 145bpm up to 180bpm with no perceived change of effort and no change reported on chest strap. This might persist for several minutes. I’ve never had (and all my running buddies) any problems with the chest strap in over 5 months apart from the known issues that have been fixed.
