@zagazoo I emailed Suunto support. At first I got a generic response, then when I insisted I got a slightly less generic one (they told me I should buy the Suunto hr strap lol), and finally the third time they said that indeed there is a compatibility issue on Suunto’s side and that they’ll look into it. You should nudge them too.

@Ckn1010 If you init a running activity with Free mode and config one screen with lap fields, I think it is exactly that you want.

@Egika Is there a table/list that lists the various user requests? Because it must be difficult and redundant for the development teams to read all these discussion threads.

@herlas Thank you for these details, I counted my Assioma pedal equipment and it is unfortunate that the Run does not record the cadence. Have you used the training programming in walking class? @Charlie-Needham known issue and Suunto is aware, no idea if it’ll get addressed in a future update.

@herlas it’s only really an issue when I’m wearing gloves. I haven’t done it since the first couple of times because I’m so paranoid about ending the run. It just seems strange they have the crown button as the resume, when I press the top button to pause. I’m not a fan of auto-pause, I never find it reliable.

@ShinJCD interesting. I am loving the Run more and more each day. When I got it, I was kind of hesitant because of the different UI to other Suunto watches. Now some things of this have changed plus I got used to others. Also the options to adjust the activity settings have increased and the watch shines with features other models don’t have: Music stored in the watch custom pictures as watch face background built in Ghost runner, metronome function and voice announcements It is light weight and since I disabled raise to wake and notifications, the battery seems to last forever.

@herlas Thank you for this clarification. Do we have any information if Suunto will integrate Runna into the Suunto Run? Are Suunto Race compatible?

@Egika Yep, thats the one. I disagree on the redundancy personally (albeit probably from tradition of having that in so many watches, including Suuntos over the years lol). But yes, the mention of it, picture of it, and of my original mention of the “storm alarm indicator” show either the software needs to change to align with the manual and other watches, or the manual needs some updates to align with the current watch setup…

@isaac.net You are right! As you say, it’s especially annoying because it affects the whole row: if you have heart rate and lap duration in the same row, the heart rate size will be reduced to be the same as the duration. Another data display issue with the Suunto Run is that the bottom field cannot be changed: it always displays the activity duration.

@danix Hi! If you use intervals on the Suunto Run, you can only use the default screens. I hope they add custom screens and data fields for intervals in the near future via an update.
