@ADidier I totally see your point. However, I think sleep tracking is hard. It took Apple forever to roll this out and they have a huge user base. Clearly I think Apple leads the pack here. Suunto has a touch choice, either do what the market demands or lose sales. I would rather a company, any company get it right maybe with less features so no deep, REM and light but absolutely accurate sleep times. I agree with you, I would use that if I knew it was always correct.

@Nelson-Diogo I ran 17 km this morning. And there was no loss of connection between the watch and the heart rate strap. But we’ll see what happens tomorrow. But the same thing happened before. Sometimes I finish training and the watch does not lose connection with the heart rate belt.

@aiv4r I agree, although I also use the Suunto Run for trail running. The point is, in my humble opinion, that when you open the Suunto Plus apps the game changes, it opens up many more possibilities for road and trail running. We’ll see

I can confirm that the music is working fine with the Suunto Run and Sony WCF-510! I think the issue was with the music files because today I tested with different music and everything was perfect! Kudos for Suunto for making such a cheap watch with music support.

Guys i have the same problem with suunto 9 baro. Everything from coach uploaded in training peaks was shown on my watch on training days. Problem started about a month ago. Contacted suunto through an agent (very helpful by the way) did a lot of restart, forget, reconnect e.t.c. but with no result. Also followed instructions from google search AI mode but with no result either. Any other ideas please? Thanks

Check that your sleep time is properly set. If, for any reason, it was reset to 0 - 0 very probably the report won’t popup in the morning

I see the same pattern. During exercise, the heart rate reading is very good, but not during the day or night outside of workouts.

@Brad_Olwin iPhone 15, latest firmware’s and App versions. I can’t help but wonder though, two things I know compared to other suunto watches: The software backend for the Run is completely different from others—evidenced by single-note tones (instead of the delightful “Suunto Song” for alarms), music, and plenty of other bits indicating its its own breed of software This is the first “spring forward” since the release of the Run—so it may be possible this bug hasn’t been noticed because it wasn’t possible before now?

My run today was spot on. Used the Run with the Coros HRM and it was exactly the same as the Polar chest strap. Before I had followed the suggestions and uninstalled and reinstalled the app. So it does seem that at least for this run it has eliminated the spiking. However it has been mentioned in previous posts that uninstalling and reinstalling the app solved the problem each time in occured suggesting it is a temporary fix and not a permanent solution. It also doesn’t alter the data that is already present and incorrect from previous runs so I do believe it’s an issue Suunto need to look into.

@ADidier said in Third-party training: @Brad_Olwin, I understand that the old operating system of the Race 2, Vertical 2 requires an addition in the form of additional applications, it was designed like this. I just hope that with this new software platform, Suunto will be able to communicate with third parties such as other watch brands (Garmin, Coros) that do not use Suunto+. In the meantime, I hand transpose my Runna plans into interval training. At the moment, there’s no sign the new OS used for the Run will be continued to be used. The Race 2 and Vertical 2 use the older OS and those watches were released after the Run. The Run OS was described as “an experiment” not as a direct successor.
