      Hello Suunto team and community,

I recently bought a Suunto Run with one very specific use case in mind: listening to audiobooks in offline MP3 mode while running. For me, this was a decisive factor in choosing the watch.

However, I quickly realized that the music player only allows play/pause, next/previous track and volume control. There is no way to fast-forward or rewind within a single track. This is very limiting, especially for audiobooks where one track can easily last 30 minutes or more.

Without the ability to skip forward/backward inside a track, it’s really inconvenient: if I miss a part or want to continue where I left off, I have to restart the whole track from the beginning.

I’d really love to know if Suunto is planning to add this feature in a future update. Being able to jump forward/backward (even in small increments like 15, 30, or 60 seconds) would make the offline MP3 player so much more useful for audiobook listeners.

Apart from this issue, I have to say that I’m really happy with the Suunto Run overall, it’s a great watch!

Thanks in advance for considering this request!

      Best regards,

Same problem here, mp3 player used for audiobooks, so it’s almost useless if it don’t remember the position in the track the last time it was used (which should be a very simple feature to add for developers). An alternative would be to control the track position by touching the half circle displayed.
