I resolved the problem of a broken installer by removing the com.apple.quarantine attribute via this shell command:

sudo xattr -d com.apple.quarantine /Users/$USER/Downloads/Suuntolink_installer.dmg
I also removed all old Launcher files from /Users/$USER/Library/LaunchAgents prior to re-installing SuuntoLink

cd /Users/$USER/Library/LaunchAgents
rm com.suunto.suuntolink.launcher.* Devices.xml SuuntolinkLauncher

Works perfectly for me thanks a lot… Mac book Pro 2027 Ventura, suuntoo spartan sport

Sorry, finally found the problem.

I was (wrongly) sure i had already connected the Suuntolink to my accounts (Suunto.app and movescount.com) when migrating in october, but it was not the case.

Now that i have connected both accounts to Suuntolink, everything works fine.

@guzzio I have exactly the same frustration. It’s is not practical to take a laptop on holiday to create routes and upload them to the watch. I really hope that Suunto will make this feature available for traverse watches in the app soon. I believe they are improving the app as time goes on. I was quite frustrated because I could not see POI’s in the app added whilst doing moves. Glad to see Suunto fixed that problem.

@Walbeck A lazy way of failing to write out “Movescount.com”.

Under settings and customiseI saw the HR graph option and enabled. Works now, is the same app as Sports Tracker.

Ok so…I read lot of articles , saw lot of movies , compare instructions ( between Ambint and Traverse ) , check the firmware release notes…

And simply seems that Traverse firmware doesn’t mark passed waypoints…its just notifying when you are close to it but nothing else…therefore using suunto app function like “DISTANCE_TO_NEXT_TARGET” is useless…

I’ve been talking about this reduction of functionality for ambit3 for months. But unfortunately not too many users care as it seems. Unbelievable that people are fine with taking their laptops and cable with them to adjust every single thing on their watches (sport modes, routes, POI-s etc.). It’s such a huge step backward from “connected family”.

it is an option, but be careful, since a long time, Syncmytracks doesn’t connect to SuuntoApp the best way : and not all the data that could be exported are exported.
Each one have to figure what data is mandatory for one’s usage.

After toggling it on you need to sync With suunto link on your pc/mac.

Got Suuntolink installed just now. Super and now both Suuntolink and Suunto App works for my Traverse Alpha watch. (Y)

Sorry to dig such old topic, did you send it to Suunto? How did it go? Same watch with different battery? New watch? Boxed with original packaging or not boxed ?

Thanks everyone I was able to manage to sort this, downloaded moveslink2 and used movescount.com to add sports and edit the hunting mode. 🙂

Here is a recent answer to my rating for the Suunto App on GooglePlay…fingers crossed. There might be hope (“hopefully you see improvements”). Cheers! 🙂
