@ggrego when it happened the watch was still under warranty, yes. But I would send it for repair anyway.

GPS accuracy may be severely degraded by the rock face blocking the ‘view’ of half of the sky, therefore incline calculation may give random results.

I got same problem, but with power/cadence from Favero assioma pro rs-2. It happened after stop. Activity was recorded fine with Wahoo (Ant+). I’ll be very upset if V2 was my primary device for bike rides… Just sent logs @pavel.samokha [image: 1783719875491-1000093690.png]

@ccrhenrik I’m not entirely sure if it works: Control Panel -> Settings -> General -> Sounds, and adjust the settings here as required. As I said, I’m not entirely sure how it works or what causes it. My Ocean is always on mute I’d appreciate some feedback so I can find out too

@Sharkhugger I receive the same warnings simply by lifting my left arm to activate the deflator valve of my drysuit. It is often seen as a Ascent speed violation.

Would be interesting if the Nautic S is a valid competitor too. As fa as I know it misses the Big Display, Dual View (Basic Data plus e.g. Compass) and the battery lifetime which are the big pluses of the nautic. For 5 tankpods/gases and Helium I am not sure So not in the same ballpark, right?

No issues with Coospo H808S Chest Strap HR Monitor - great value. Previously used via ANT with Garmin Forerunner (also no issues).

The “Resources” indicator is not compatible with the RUN model, instead there is the “Recovery” indicator.

@vinc14 said: so where to put the watch? Garmin suggest putting it in your swimming cap. And stating on a footnote that the wrist based function won’t work in that case…

@Matúš My hypothesis is that there are some extra features that do not really work well together. Test 1: new battery installed because watch could not last for more than two days which is somewhat below specs. Before battery switch the sleep tracking was unstable, after the change it never came back. Test 2: turned of heart-rate measurement completely since it is no use … Surprise it is still trying to ignite the measurement LEDs ??? Restarted it several times, being more than a week since I received it back. Multiple trainings done, they worked out OK and battery time seems to have improved since I can use the watch more than two days on a charge now. However it is entirely unlike the other Spartan Sport WHR I own which can be worn a week and still has 80% of battery power. Both have new battery but remarkably different performance, sleep recording broke something in the 9PP as far as I can deduce.

I have previously shared my implementation of a structured interval guide. [image: 1781683549257-interval_recover.jpg] As it was not possible to upload FIT files to the watch I decided to implement the setup of a structured interval run on the watch like this. [image: 1781683569172-combined_setup.jpg] Three different interval profiles are stored on the watch. Initial defaults are: 2 x 12 min @ 101% of LT pace 5 x 6 min @ 107% of LT pace 10 x 1 min @ 113% of LT pace The user can change repetitions, interval duration and pace. The new settings will be saved in the profile for the next interval run. Speed zones are retrieved from the watch and used to set LT pace and reasonable pace for warm-up, recovery and cool-down. Recovery duration is set to match interval duration with a lower and upper limit. The watch did not support creating four separate SetUp screens for the UI. So one screen was used in combination with setText for the label and parameter being changed. To avoid problems with rounding effects in Suunto firmware, pace (seconds per kilometer) was used in main.js which was converted to speed (m/s) only when output.

@Maxime-Bouvier io ho lo stesso problema e ho già postato un’uscita con Garmin coros e Suunto. Secondo me è un problema firmware perché per il primo anno è andato benissimo. Ora da circa due mesi ha problemi.

@sloppysloper right that’s the only way: Coros have integrated Stryd at the OS level, and Garmin have enough compute, and an open enough system to allow the CIQ widget to work. Sadly it has to come from Suunto, regardless of the Suunto watch used.

I’ve posted on another thread but I’ve some doubts about the sessions planned by AI and how much they take account of past performance. My understanding was that Suunto knows this and sets the plan accordingly. This doesn’t seem to work in practice. I’m old and slow - I’m 67 and my Z2 pace is about 8m/km. In the first week of a 10 week trail plan one of the sessions prescribed was a 60 minute 10k run at an ‘easy’ pace in Z2. If the AI understood anything from my previous training it would have made more sense just to specify a 60 minute Z2 run or a 10k Z2 run. But 10k in 60 minutes in Z2 simply isn’t an option for me. Maybe it was 20 years ago. I’d also like the ability to edit sessions. At the moment as far as I can tell I can only change the scheduled day. I’d like much more freedom to edit the details of individual sessions. For example a hill repeats session may include a 10 minute warm up - but if it takes me 20 minutes to run to the hill I intend to use I don’t seem to be able to alter the guide to reflect that. So I have to start the watch some time after setting off or pause it until I reach the hill.

@enneo the Chinese suunto account (suunto.cn) are not in the same database as the rest of the world (because china impose that chinese citizen data should be stored exclusivly in China), so your auth credentials won’t work
