Race 2 - "Find my phone" no longer works unless Suunto app is open (iPhone, FW 2.56.18)

Since updating my Suunto Race 2 to firmware 2.56.18, I have a reproducible issue with Find my phone.
Environment
Suunto Race 2
Firmware 2.56.18
iPhone with the latest iOS
Latest Suunto AppIssue
“Find my phone” always displays “Connection to phone impossible” unless the Suunto app is currently open.What works normally
Notifications are received correctly.
Watch synchronization works perfectly.
Bluetooth connection is active.Expected behavior
Unless i am mistaken, before firmware 2.56.18, Find my phone worked even when the Suunto app was only running in the background. I use this feature frequently and it was reliable.Current behavior
After the update, the feature only works if the Suunto app is already open on the iPhone. Otherwise, the watch immediately reports “Connection to phone impossible”.Since notifications and synchronization are working correctly, this does not seem to be a Bluetooth pairing issue but rather a regression affecting the Find my phone function.
Can anyone with a Race 2 + iPhone confirm the same behavior?
