    @sloppysloper right that’s the only way: Coros have integrated Stryd at the OS level, and Garmin have enough compute, and an open enough system to allow the CIQ widget to work. Sadly it has to come from Suunto, regardless of the Suunto watch used.

    The replacement charging cable for the Vertical 2 is still not available in Türkiye. They said it will be available soon. We’re waiting.

    @DJWilko Please don’t expect Suunto to provide a proper answer regarding the log issue. My logging is completely messed up as well. Some dives show temperatures of -273°C, and air consumption is sometimes not displayed at all. My support case has been open for more than two months now, and I still haven’t received any useful information or a real solution. I’ve already given them several chances and more than enough time. The only reason I haven’t returned the device already is that I unfortunately bought additional accessories worth over €250 for it, including the POD and strap. Otherwise, it would have been gone a long time ago and I would already be using a Perdix. I have now given Suunto a final deadline of 14 days to provide a concrete and satisfactory solution. Seven days of that deadline are still remaining. If they fail to resolve the issue within that time, I will hand the matter over to my lawyer.     @laurent.claustre well yes, updated the app yesterday and immediately synced a route i had in library - which i know was not working previously. Now, i didn’t hike it to confirm, but preview (from navigation) shows it is fine now, as opposed to how it was before. I encourage you to update the app and try.

    Don’t know if this is expected behavior or a “bug”, but in indoor swimming, I have to set again the pool length after each reboot of the watch. This does not happen with other sport mode setting (like selected suunto-plus, brightness settings ecc). It would be nice if also the pool length setting is remembered. I think that many swimmers (or at least me) most of the time swim in the same pool, with the same pool length

    2.14 (2026-07-07) The heart-rate zone bar and trend chart now react right away in workouts without speed data — indoor sessions, or while waiting for a GPS fix — where they could previously lag behind by a couple of minutes. The view you selected stays selected after lap and other watch overlays, and the trend keeps averaging smoothly through them. Shows – instead of STABLE until there is enough data to judge your effort. Also, I’ve spammed 30+ manual laps and cycled through screens like mad and all is stable as a rock. Just didn’t manage to breake the app or the watch.

    Thank you for this, this is certainly a step up for strength training experience on Suunto. And good point on N.B. regarding the touchscreen! I had a senior moment and forgot that you need to access custom battery mode for it

    @Sharkhugger I receive the same warnings simply by lifting my left arm to activate the deflator valve of my drysuit. It is often seen as a Ascent speed violation.

    @Stefan-T. I guess it depends on the day. On a good day, we can laugh it off and see it as a minor issue. On a bad day, we might look at the watch and wonder, “Seriously? How can such an expensive watch have such a ridiculous bug?” Anyway, let’s hope the next firmware update fixes it — preferably before we all become experts at soft-resetting our watches.
