Prior to the update it was working just fine. And yes, I have turned it on and off, and I turned monitoring on and off. No change. Personally, this is a dealbreaker for me. The whole point is to have monitoring which cascades into HRV and training readyness which then is also invalidated.

Hi, Last Saturday I used Open Water Swimming mode for the first time and it failed to record my track as well. However, I did not get GPS fix before I started the activity. Why? When I was in the water some drops caused the touchscreen to swipe , and I had to reselect the activity once again. And it happened seconds before my race start, so I didn’t have time to wait for the fix. Can it be the reason? Once I got out of the water, the watch acquired GPS signal and recorded the rest ot my race (it was triathlon). Regards!

@brave_dave thank you so much, I see… My last 20 minutes of a 10k race and my Zonesense anaerobic thershold are quite similar (+/-2bpm). But then, there’s the widget on Suunto Run (the watch) that tells me that my lactate thershold is 12 or 14 bpm lower than the other methods and this confuses me, I guess it’s wrong. Anyway, thanks again.

@Mff73 Most of the divers will have dives before using the Suunto app. So a counter starting from lets say dive number 89 would be interesting. Works like this in the Mares / SSI app

@sartoric so maybe there’s a language barrier thing going on. As a gear reviewer, I try to use the device like a normal customer would. This means, if I have issues, I try to resolve the issues using the methods that a regular customer would have. A regular customer does not have a PR contact to reach out to. Yes, part of my review experience includes customer service and issue resolution. I emailed support-en@suunto.com with my issue and detailed my troubleshooting attempts. It took them 4 days to respond. Their response included repeating all of the troubleshooting steps that I already took and then suggested that I reach out to Samsung to revert my phone OS to a previous version that would allow me to connect to the Wing 2. (super problematic advice for many reasons) So, I went to the forum hoping I’d get some help with escalating this as a bug request. Instead, I received unhelpful and frankly rude exchanges. I did finally reach out to my PR contact, who then went to Suunto and they duplicated my issue and recommended a solution. I had to find another device that could connect to the Wing 2 and update the Wing 2 software to the current version. Once I did that, I was able to connect the headphones to my phone. So again, the issue was with Suunto out of the box programming and had nothing to do with me or my phone. Again, a normal person wouldn’t have had access to the resolution, which is a huge problem

But this is not exactly true, because кроль means crowl, which is divided to freestyle and backstroke. So Im suggesting to translate backstroke to Russian as a “Спина” (means “Back”).

@mil57 hmm, according to answers from other users, I think that you’d need to be more specific with your question. Are you interested in your overnight HRV for your recovery? If so, then see my answer. Are you interrested in HRV from your activity? In that case refer to this answer and keep in mind that prerequisite for the HRV recorded during activity is this Hope that helps!

@Henning-Hefner Could be the cadence lock problem, where the sensor believes the movement off the watch on your wrist is interpreted as your heartrate. Should be better if you wear the watch tight and above your wristbone
