I got same problem, but with power/cadence from Favero assioma pro rs-2. It happened after stop. Activity was recorded fine with Wahoo (Ant+). I’ll be very upset if V2 was my primary device for bike rides… Just sent logs @pavel.samokha [image: 1783719875491-1000093690.png]

hello @braisfb , same with V1. Very frustrating for me, the 2 times it happened, both during a race. There is a thread to cover theses crashes : https://forum.suunto.com/topic/15153/crash-reports-collection-q1-2026?_=1783714628703

@Ecki-D. said: Suunto should build the Leica of endurance watches I really like the Leica analogy. The 9 Peak design looks and feels very purpose-built and understated, much like the cameras. And the original retail price for the 9 Peak set it apart from the competition despite its lack of certain state-of-the-art technology, much like Leica. (Okay, maybe not quite as bad as a Leica.) I was going to say that I thought the ship had sailed on Suunto producing the type of watch you described above. After all, it seems that since the new ownership, there has been a significant push to introduce more and more features. Some of these are playing catch-up to the competition, and others are things that users have been asking for. And, at this point, it feels like Suunto watches are becoming more complicated to use. Certainly not as bad as Garmin, but they are on the path towards “feature overload” that simply didn’t exist in the 9 series days. But, then I remembered the impending release of the Core 2. So it appears that Suunto is developing two distinct watch branches: the do-it-all, not-quite-a-smartwatch, adventure watches (Vertical and Race); and the bare-bones, hardcore, basics watch (Core). Maybe there’s hope that a new branch will emerge that bridges the gap between these two? A watch that does a little more than the Core, but not quite everything that the Vertical does? And if it looks anything like the 9 Peak, I’d imagine it’d be pretty close to the “Leica of endurance watches ”.

@irongod eg, my wife has the 9 Peak Pro, released in October 2022. It received updates until a few months ago. V1 came out in May 2023 and is still supported, etc., so I’d say 3 years is a reasonable and realistic timeframe.

@2b2bff Hi. I met the same issue. The Suunto guides from AI Suunto Plans were not removed and stopped syncing. I am not able to make it work anyway. But I also have my manually created Suunto guides synced to my watch, and, surprisingly, removing one of my manually created Suunto guides fixes the whole process of syncing. Please try.

@DonTomGot ok thanks! Can it be listed in the app information? Is it just the visual issue? Numbers would be accurate?

I still think it would be much easier – and therefore faster – to implement this in the SuuntoApp rather than in the watch software. You could achieve not only the same results but even more. Plus, you wouldn’t have all the limitations – sleep analysis, recovery, TSS, CTL, ATL, HRV, etc. You could also, for example, use different activities during a multi‑day trek – like swimming, climbing, or via ferrata – without having to deal with complicated activity session management or multisport mode. Additionally, full freedom of sensor management between different parts of a multi‑day activity. Reboot, update etc. between days etc. On top of that, it would be available to every user (like ZoneSense), not just those with the latest watches. And you wouldn’t have to pray that a crash doesn’t happen during such long and complex recorded activities. You could also relatively easily group and combine selected activities into one final one, and then – like with any regular activity – export it automatically to other services, just as it currently happens at the end of every activity. Especially since, in such a case, it’s really only about the total distance, elevation gain, duration, and a few less important stats like steps or calories. All the other statistics are far more useful on a daily (per session) basis for ongoing analysis.

It is insane that there is still no first party support for syncing workouts from Zwift to Suunto.

@ccrhenrik I’m not entirely sure if it works: Control Panel -> Settings -> General -> Sounds, and adjust the settings here as required. As I said, I’m not entirely sure how it works or what causes it. My Ocean is always on mute I’d appreciate some feedback so I can find out too

I am also happy with my 9PP, but charging it every two days begins to annoy me. So looking for two options, send it so Service for a battery replacement, or buy a newer model… Anyone knows how long Service times are nowadays?
