A miner bug in the Red Pulse watchface: The day of the date field switches from single to double digits when unlocking the watch. After the idle timeout the day switches back to a single digit

@Dareo I hope Suunto is working on the non-touch-responsive navigation screen issue, too.

@CroShark Before the latest update, I had excellent results with the Vertical in open water. I can honestly say that, compared to people using Garmin (fenix, forerunner ) and COROS (apex pro)devices (swim side by side always freestyle technique), my trackings were equally good — if not better and more reliable — even under cloudy skies and sea wave conditions. I assume this is some kind of glitch or bug introduced in the recent update, as a soft reset hasn’t resolved the issue. I’m confident it’s not a hardware problem, since the watch performs flawlessly in every other use case. I hope this will be improved in a future update, before I consider doing a hard reset.

@6iovanni there are tons of little things improved with each update that are not listed. Usually happening under the hood.

@Ze-Stuart it is very common to apply one’s own priorities to be valid for everyone. What might look weird to you will not be so for others. Plus afaik the stopwatch during activity has been asked for quite a lot. Which is the topic of this thread.

@ShinJCD In term of GPS accuracy, one day can be “bad”, and in parallel to chipset, each watch also have its specific antenna. That said, this track is not super good.

Same issue this weekend but only with biking . The only S+ was Weather, I so removed it. Latest test sync with Strava is ok, I can review all Suunto App parameters, but sync with relive is not working

Recent cycling to the cottage I got 135bpm aerobic threshold. Cycling back after 1.5 hour, definitely tired a lot and I got higher 140bpm threshold on that ride. I was expecting lower value on way back.

Hey @tinten.addi I had the same motivations as you did. I needed a new dive computer and was looking at the Garmin Descent Mk3 (quite expensive and too big for my wrist for an everyday watch) and the Suunto D5, because i wanted a computer I could wear like my previous Garmin Fenix 5 everyday. I was just about to order the D5, when the Ocean was announced. I bought it the next day and received it in no time Some features were disappointing at the beginning (e.g. not having a compass while diving, although the watch had a compass builtin), but the major issues have been fixed with the latest firmware. Nevertheless there are more feature reqeusts pending and I assume, you read the discussions about Suunto not updating the Ocean for over half a year now (I would for example love to customize was is shown in the dive screen, esp. in the switch window or to have tank pressure and heading direction available simualtanousely)… Over all, in my opinion, it’s a decent dive computer, an pretty device with potential for software making it great. I know that steps and step counter is not crucial in a sports watch and step counter in Ocean from the last update is much better but that screen Steps for the last 7 days is completely wrong. Is that really that hard to calculate and give correct information

@Mister-PYC no worries - the 4 !!! were maybe a little bit too much for an older news. No need to argue how old it was

@Mff73 This is sure. and everyone has different wishes and opinions. the point is more, let’s suggest them , let’s propose, they have a big potential in their watches and they have beautiful things … so why not to suggest and have more if this is doable and does not damage anything

@Jan-H.-0 for some the default is too weak, for others it is too strong. Plus there may be slight variations in individual devices. While S9 vibration was sometimes criticized to be “rattling”, I have never seen this complaint about Race S. Do you have a chance to compare with another model? Otherwise I would contact support.

@Cezary-Śliwiński I don’t think anything has gone wrong. If Garmin suits you better, get a Garmin. I came to Suunto from a Fenix. I prefer the Suunto, just get what is best for you.

@Egika Hi I have 9PP and my issue was that after starting any activity the heart rate from wrist was not detected. I had to switch off the watch completely, turn it back on sync with phone and only after this the heart rate was working. It was really frustrating to do it before each activity. I did the software update and fortunately so far it is working I’ve been testing for few days and finger crossed it is fixed.

@Egika Thanks. Yeah, I didn’t think it was. Familiar with manual scrolling both forward and back, but just makes sense to have auto scroll without having to do that for when using poles or on a bike. Hopefully gets added at some point.

@Martijn-van-Geloof All very useful information that unfortunately cannot be included in logs at present. There’s a big gap in where dive logging should be.
