I’ve been working on another app focused on one of the most requested areas by the community: strength training.
Strength Tracker automatically counts your reps using the watch accelerometer and allows you to track every set directly from your Suunto watch.Key features:
Automatic rep counting
Heart rate monitoring during sets
Mechanical Load Score calculation
Last set information visible during the workout
Every set saved as a manual lap for later analysis in the Suunto App
Quick weight and rep configuration from the watch
Support for multiple muscle groupsUnlike heart rate, which often doesn’t reflect the true intensity of strength training, Load Score provides a better indication of the actual mechanical work performed during your session.
This is another example of how SuuntoPlus Apps can help fill feature gaps and bring useful tools to athletes while we continue pushing for future native implementations.
