@CHRGBR said in Race 2 accuracy: Hello, I can confirm my R2 shows always a litte shorter distance than my Ambit 3 (about 1%). This is not a tragedy but a software fix would be appreciated Comparing against Ambit 3 isn’t as straightforward as it may seem. For example, when running on deeply forested trails in my area Ambit 3 was always 3-5% shorter (less accurate) than modern Suunto watches.

@DonTomGot the only “issue” you could have with your preload plan is that even if you plan your 2,45km @5:19/km segment like in your exemple, on the field there is a lot of chances that your segment will not be 2,45km (more or less, depending on terrain, route that could change, wrong direction… or so…) ; so I guess it would impact the rest of plan. That’s why I set waypoints (on route, in Sunnto App) and use manuals lap during races to have current pace on lap and distance remaining to nextwaypoint.

@aqua86 Thank you for your feedback. Let’s hope this is implemented soon. In my view, this should be done within the app, as it is the app that passes the data on to Ocean.

@2b2bff well well well … if you tell to someone who is doing a diet that he lost 5000 g and to his wife that she lost 5 kg … you are right … this is not the same … the wife will be super happy but the man wearing a suunto and for who 43 and 43.0 make a difference will start to question himself about the precision of instrument … how it could have been possible that he arrives preciselly to exact 5000 Joking !!!

@JSampson wished you had the thread properly. As Runalyze can get the data it seems like an incomplete implementation of the Suunto API at TrainingPeaks… So, Suunto isn’t to be blamed - in this case…

@sky-runner it does actually. It always starts to connect to the last used, but advances to others it finds. But you can disable each sensor per activity and it will remember this…

@Роман-Баранцев said in Suunto Spark: @dreamer_ The problem lies in the simultaneous work of the suunto assistant and the Google assistant. Probably available in all languages. The thing is that both audios are happening at the same time. It’s super weird. And if you configure the watch in english, the issue is gone.

@microniko Yes, the S+ app does (or should) detect the transitions and create laps. Just this happens all within the single sport mode (running). So you end up with a running activity that has laps for when you change in and out of swimming. Repeat option: Without repeat, you get just Run -> Swim -> end If your event is more than just one swim and one run, then you would want Run -> Swim -> Run -> Swim -> Run -> Swim and so on, until you end the whole thing. This is repeating.

@TyreseJ4 two comments: battery life is not an online hype, but one of the key specs of a sport watch. my S9B Ambassador is slow and the battery not in anyway living up to the one in Vertical 2 I would sell it, if it was not the Ambassador version and thus some kind of collectable…

@SamuelP I once had a problem installing watch faces, so I reset the settings. Now I’ve decided not to wait for the watch update after all, but to reset the settings instead. Of course, it’s a shame that I have to set everything up again, download maps, and wait for the HRV and ZoneSense ranges to be calculated. I’m curious to see how Suunto will resolve this issue—will the new software version help, or is the problem somewhere else entirely, meaning I’ll have to reset the settings anyway?

Hi @isazi, this is indeed using the OHR. In the meantime, I’ve purchased a heart rate belt which I sometimes use during peak & valley power walks. The described behavior cannot be reproduced when using the belt, which operates accurately. So, it seems to be rather a problem of the OHR

Comfortable to wear, as well as excellent sound quality and microphone. They are not a runnig sensor (I believed the marketing promises)

Tried to develop my own data screen. [image: 1779178813463-fc718e2e-4d56-48ae-a876-2fede0a9803a-image.png] Nice experience so far, many thanks to the devs for making this possible. My question comes to the “big picture”. I want to do structured trading with my own data screen(s). Currently I am using intervals.icu although I have been hacking on my own FIT file editor. When intervals upload training session, I get an extra data screen from intervals which I cannot modify and I also have my normal data screens which are not aware of the structure of the training. Any hints on the best way forward to combine my data screen with structured training?

What are the differences in freediving after updating to 2.51.28? I went for freediving after the update but couldn’t find any change at all. Is the “Customization of switch window and arches for dive modes” concerning scuba or freediving?

@manno02 I’m not using the vertical 2 but this issues seem to happen across several devices. I stopped using the chest strap until this is solved because the OHR works fine on the Suunto Run.

I wanted to know if it was a normal behavior of the watch because on my side it is a problem because it turns on almost all the time the watch and so the autonomy is not there
