@snow crazy how it didn’t occur to them that people running with their running watches would be interested in running data from another device by the same company, and in combining both sources of running data for analysis. Other than that, the experience is quite good in my view, coming from Schockz Openrun. Which I broke. Several times. In the end after 3 years i couldn’t repair them adequately anymore. So, let’s try the Spark… Sound quality is really good, very enjoyable. Unless… it’s a windy day you’re road or gravel cycling you’re on a average-noisy treadmill there’s traffic nearby the gym is blasting music at you Then it’s just not loud enough and doesn’t isolate you from those noises (that is normally part of the appeal). Those issues also affected bone conduction headphones, but not as much. So, no new issues, but a regression. I will do another cycling commute next week when I’m back from overseas and check again. Until then I’ll be using them at hotel gyms a lot. I think i will keep them, but the fact that I’m not sure yet says it all.

Comfortable to wear, as well as excellent sound quality and microphone. They are not a runnig sensor (I believed the marketing promises)

@Carlos-Villamar did you ever solve this issue. Suddenly i’m seeing the same. This headphone hardware is fine but the software is not that great.

@shamilt1 Also these look very similar to Shokz OpenFit, OpenFit 2, OpenFit Pro, all of which are not bone conducting headphones.

@Svenning That’s true, but you’re left without music because there’s no MP3 option on the headphones, and if you don’t have your phone with you, you need a different BLUETOOTH player to listen to music.

@runomatic said in Turn-by-turn guidance on headphones?: @maszop said in Turn-by-turn guidance on headphones?: @runomatic It seems to me that a watch is supposed to HELP the user navigate, not mindlessly guide them like a car sat-nav. That’s what GPX route navigation is all about. Really? Who decides that? I wrote that it was just my opinion: It seems to me…

Until today (2026 March) I’m facing the same issue… And I’m just simply wondering why Suunto release the SuuntoPlus app connecting these two devices if the connection meant to be broke anyway once you’re in the water… Also the Youtube video even shown you could have real time data on your watch which I know it’s impossible as bluetooth signal won’t transfer under water… Very disappointed…

@S.Pichi said in Wing 2 not connecting to Samsung 23 Ultra: i have the same problem , cannot pair my wing2 with samsung23 ultra. Im now trying to connect my aqua to s24 ultra. Connects then disconects and and it does this all the time. My vert 2 is fine and has a green dot to say its ok in the app Headphones always have a orange dot in the app. I hit he icon and it takes me to pair section. it then connects and then the dot goes green . Then back to orange the back to psir and it has disconnected. This is a vicious loop. I think it needs to go back. Its like 1 hour old.

The service does sound appalling. I have a pair of Shokz, they are around 4 years old and never had an issue. I also used to work in an online bike shop that sold Shokz. I can only remember one pair of Shokz being returned which was after twelve months and the buttons stopped working. Shokz are pretty solid in my experience. As mentioned above you should have consumer rights, if you are in the EU at least. But as mentioned above you are either very unlucky or very hard on your equipment ‍️

@Tomas5 I used walkie-talkies with headsets for paragliding, but it was always a hassle with the cables. Today you can get 4 walkie-talkies with Bluetooth headsets for under 200 €. But if you really want an easy-to-use outdoor solution, you’ll have to spend more: go for Milo, it simply works → https://www.okmilo.com/de/reviews Bluetooth isn’t great for this use case: it has too much latency, limited range (10–15 m max), and it’s designed for point-to-point streaming, not low-latency group talk. That’s why outdoor intercoms like Milo or Sena use their own mesh/radio protocols instead of Bluetooth.
