@Thlcd great comparison. I also have noticed that the last update, although full of bugs and battery eating, greatly improved the wrist HR on the Race S. Previously I only used the HR chest strap, but after reading comments here I gave it a chance for walking and body building – for biking the watch is on the handlebar, so I need the strap. Well, after a few tries, I have to say that finally it seems that it works well!

@elbee tnx for your help. Indeed that was the issue, tested it this morning. In the trainingsoptions menu there is als the option to switch off the wrist measurement.

I received an update on the matter after contacting Suuntos support team. After shipping off all my logs and specifications, I received this: *As per the reply from our technical team, we recommend restarting the watch before exercising and trying to use fewer Suunto Plus apps during activities. Please note that this issue has already been identified and is expected to be addressed in the next software update.*

So, you can see whether the graph is below or above that line. Haha didn’t mean to imply you didn’t know you had the issue; it was just more musing to myself that I’m clearly not alone in this. I did seem to have missed that selecting it as a button turns on a line which is useful and clearly shows a few points in my graphs where the graph is going under the line. Thanks. I guess at this point my questions are more “does it work the way I’d expect it to for anyone or is what we’re seeing a universal truth in Suunto app/devices,” as well as “is there a good reason for this behavior I’m missing.” Have a good weekend!

Я не могу скачать на race s, в основном пытался раздать vpn трафик через точку доступа, ни с телефона ни с виндовс не загружает карты, при том что с виндовс я смог раздать vpn через хот спот своему телефону и у меня получилось, т.е. не включая впн на самом телефоне, смог зайти на ютуб например и все видосы подгружались. Но часы тем не менее не хотят качать карты. Читал информацию что часы подключаются по какому-то примитивному принципу, и так как телефон умно не умеют, обходить блокировки. Приложения разные которые советуют на телефон скачать для раздачи, пробовал и ни о чем. В общем, интересно что вы скажете

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I wanted to mention that I had one crash a a few weeks ago, for which I had uploaded the logs, and the crash was then reported into the system with help of @Egika . In my case it was a vanilla Run sport with nothing special about it and me not doing anything with the watch at the time of the crash. The only special thing was, perhaps, is that I used the Run sport for the first time on the watch, but previously I did a number of activities with a customized Trail Run sport. If that helps, I can send you the details (crash time, etc) again in the chat.

@JebClydeNC I went under bluetooth settings on my phone and clicked ‘forget this device’ and had my phone refind the device and that worked!

I did make some mistakes, but without any impact (wrong signature for getUserInterface, …) The actual real reason I did get the “Maximum SuuntoPlus Apps reached” is because I was using regex in main.js … This is not documented, so warning for all the other devs: do not use regex as this will work with the simulator but not with your watch!

@elbee I agree, there should be a simple toggle for morning report without doing anything about sleep tracking.
