@ShinJCD I can’t confirm the issue. But have you tried playing around with the “Display always on” or “Wake when lifted” settings? (Freely translated from the German setting)

@duffman19 said in Suunto navigation tendency to auto-reverse route when it shouldn't. Bug or misguided feature?: I think Suunto outsmarted itself when it decided to create the auto-reverse navigation feature. It really causes more problems than it solves. I think the best solution is to offer a menu option to navigate a route backwards, so the user must knowingly select it. There may also be situations when racing when a route auto-reversal is not just inconvenient but plain wrong and misleading. A lot of ultra marathon races have complex courses with long out-and-back sections of the course combined with parts of the course that are completely different. To make it more complicated, Imagine that you also have waypoints for all the aid stations on the route. I can think of many examples in my racing history, for example Miwok 100k (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/california/miwok-100k), Canyons 100k, Cascade Crest 100M, Kodiak 100k, and more. If you don’t hit the turn-around point exactly as in the route, the route will likely reverse and then: You get the remaining elevation profile wrong The remaining total ascent becomes wrong Distance to next aid station becomes wrong All of that continues until you are done with the shared out-and back section of the route. This issue has actually happened to me, and more than once - both with Suunto 9 Baro and Race.

I’m on 3.19.18 and able to calibrate at the end of the session. It’s the 5th time I calibrate it and it keeps counting 1 km more every 4 or so… Same treadmill, same speed, same incline for every session.

@Mff73 said in And it crashes mid run: @Kenneth-De-Cocker Besides software problems, you might have an hardware one which is happening in rare situations and causing the crash (es). You should maybe contact support while your watch is still under warranty. I contacted support they also said to return it, just a small problem I have a big trainings weekend coming up and also I participating in a race half September. They said if I send the watch it could take up to 14 business days … so yeah not ideal for the moment so perhaps I’ll send it off after that race. Also gonna take zero risk on race day and use a second watch an old polar but it has no gpx function which is mandatory for the race so yeah better hope is stays alive during that 100km.

@jschmidt I hear you! Yesterday I removed the Stryd app, rebooted the watch. It was my tempo day and watts were correct Today it’s my easy day and we’ll see if the watts are okay again Saturday was my long run day, and the wrist watts were 40-50W below my Stryd watts. I had to run based on how I was feeling, what the HR was and what the Stryd screen was telling me about the realtime power. All was okay on the end - my Z2 guesstimate was only 4% off from what training program had prescribed Anyway, these technical issues are always annoying and can make session/workout days difficult. Like you mention, if you have critical power tests or races it can be difficult to make use the race planner’s recommendations.

You can manually edit TSS in the App. Just open the activity and choose “edit”.

@Hari-Seldon said in Rolling out 3.19.18: I’ve never understood if the forum is read in any way by support or anyone else. I just hope that some mod or field tester forwards it to the developers; in my opinion it is better if you also send feedback via app, so that there is a better chance that reports are not lost in the void. Probably not, this is a playing field for users, not a support forum. As for support, I have to say, my experience was rather poor. Yesterday, I finally found the point in the app. However, it redirected me to the website. I was already there, but the chat button isn’t visible on the desktop. So you have to use your smartphone, which makes writing difficult. Then I couldn’t send a picture—the link was dead. Eventually, I did get help with my defective Smart Sensor, but one follow-up question was lost because the chat timed out. I wanted to report the problem with sleep tracking, but it’s pointless there. To put it briefly, the support chat is not a channel for describing a problem or situation in detail, but I just saw that the support contacted me via email afterwards
