@Cyclepunk if you can’t see your Apple Watch-recorded workouts in Sports Tracker app on iPhone, then check that iPhone app has Apple Health access permissions You need to open iPhone settings -> Apps -> Apple Health -> Sharing -> Apps -> Sports Tracker and check that all toggles are on there.

@Olaf-Gottschalk btw: I don’t understand, in which way it makes sense to count steps of an activity… Is it a training goal to finish the activity with maximum or minimum number of steps?

@prakalejas I will try to answer a few points based on my experience: I am familiar with the problem of losing connection to the transmitter from other dive computers. I have not had any problems with the Ocean so far. I wear the transmitter on the centre-right and the watch on my left wrist. Repositioning the transmitter or the watch can help (based on experience with other dive computers). The descent time is displayed in the app in the list of all activities (below the map, where the date is also shown). A lot of basic data is not displayed. I have already sent a list to Suunto. The watch strap supplied is already the longer one. Suunto offers extensions and even longer straps on their website. You need to make sure you choose one that is 22 mm wide. I ordered the following extension: https://www.suunto.com/de-ch/Produkte/Taucharmbander/suunto-dive-verlangerungsarmbander/Suunto-Dive-schwarzes-Silikon-Verlangerungsarmband/ I can’t say anything bad about the compass at the moment. @Francesco-Pagano The climb difficulty is rated for cycling. I think and have stated not necessarily useful for running. But they are there.

@Stefan1 Agreed, and sure i want more detailed data, for example to look at particular dive in suunto app. Now we can’t enter each dive in suunto app.

@Keith_Michael I’d probably note that both these things are easily accomplished with tags on any current sport mode like chores, and then you can subdivide your projects with different tags for instance, if used for hobbys.

@fejker yes, just one sad thing is. When importing exercise to Suunto App it won’t show him burned calories in daily burned calories section. I have been debating about this with suunto support in chat for a while and nothing can be done. I have recently switched to Garmin which was adding kcal but not adding training into my tiredness. Best solution for the moment to me is to connect trainer to watch and zwift in parallel. Training from zwift remain in zwift and from Garmin goes to Strava for example. Also in thus case I’m not tight to zwift only. Using wahoo app too from time to time.

@Sunday while I found the Race S with it’s rotating crown not ideally suited for beach sports, the tides request has been around for quite some time. Maybe you can find one of the other posts and just upvote it

Suunto support’s reply provided some additional details: The Suunto Run does not include all the swimming features advertised in the product sheet — a deliberate choice by Suunto. I don’t understand why they don’t update their product sheet to clarify which features might actually come later; it’s completely unacceptable. Suunto acknowledges these shortcomings. It’s somewhat reassuring — we can hope for certain improvements, such as displaying distance in meters — but nothing guarantees that all the announced features are achievable due to hardware limitations (automatic laps, stroke recognition, rest-time counting). I was told that only the high-end models are capable of handling these features and that the Run is primarily oriented toward running.
