@Mff73 Thank you, the manual firmware update worked. @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos If there are that kind of networking issues on a PC where internet connection per se is working, Suunto should seriously work on the piece of cr** of software that SuuntoLink is.

I noticed difference issue on my activities too, for me duration differs by couple of seconds from sum of HR zones, but I considered it comes from HR zone times aren’t displayed with 1/10th seconds precision. But your case is way strange. Update: now that I look more carefully on my yesterdays run, when the watch lost connection with the strap at the end of the run, the difference is more then 10 seconds. Which is strange, if you consider that from precision, only max. 5 seconds may come (if there are 5 zones).

If it can help, i think this recovery time seems high to you because you run regulary. I’ve paused for around 21 months. And when i restart it tell me the first time something like 64h ! Trust me or not but a the 64h all my muscle pain was totally gone. Since i respect the recommandations and honestly every time i feel myself at 100% So for me it’s ok.

@herlas I’m fine with a slightly shorter distance, at least it’s not giving me free credits.

Contacted support. They told me to send watch to their service center.I will turn off raise to wake option as it probably consume too much battery.

@miniforklift Agreed, I am using this by either inputting the cut off time on a race I was unlikely to finish (typically only 2-5% finish the one I tried) and GhostRunner will tell me how far I will get. Or input the distance for the race and you will see the time it will take to cover the distance, i.e. finish time. I find this quite useful.

not just electronic compasses, should regularly check and calibrated mechanical compasses too. Always amazes me when I get on a boat that has had a recent refurb and ask if the compass has been calibrated and the owner says no, only to find out its way out due to all the addiitional refurb work that has been done. Even had one where they replaced the binacle and didn’t bother!!! And that is serious stuff. There have been times when satnav has been down and we have only had a compass to work with (hence my paranoia about it).

@surfboomerang said in Sportmode Trailrunning Basic Suunto 9 baro: @sebastian-pichler I understand the question why it was removed in the latest firmware. No idea if there was a reason behind this or that it is a bug. Yes, there was a reason. It is basically about unification of some sport modes. But as @Brad_Olwin says, by downgrading the watch you lose some of the fixes and other features. If a personalised sport mode gives you the data you want, it looks like a valid workaround to me. As mentioned before, there is the “Trailrunning Mountain” pre-defined sport mode. Plus as always creating your own sport modes is a main feature of sport watches. So I would not call this a workaround, but just a standard feature to use to design the data fields as you like it.

@Kloppite nope, I was reluctant to wait the repair to conclude, so I just changed my theme to white and forgot the dead pixels are there. The surface grew a bit over the time but the watch is still very usable.
