Maybe it could be mentioned to suunto from people here that have the ability to talk them instead of worrying about new updates to fix the battery drain problem that many of us are having?
Personally I wish they would allow me to “update”
Back to whatever firmware came with my suunto vertical over 2 years ago when I bought it was it worked perfect back then.
@Mff73
i believe i have only one account, and use(d) only Suunto watches. this is my 3rd one.
holy… nope. when i logged to sportstracker i can see only stuff from 2019 and earlier and current data (i mean data registered by the current watch)
any chance to restore lost stuff?
@VoiGAS I spent a lot of time talking with the reps at DEMA. I spent a lot of time playing with the Nautic. I will have 2 of the Nautics to replace my 2 steels after they ship later this month. They are awesome but no news on charts. Kind of a miss if you ask me.
@SteffMG76
Hi. I’m m still not sure what you mean or why you would need to adjust that reading. I’m more interested in change over time than in a specific value. I can’t adjust the barometric pressure reading on my Coros but I can adjust the altitude (and handily I can do this mid exercise to recalibrate height at a known point). Where would you get a reference atmospheric pressure value from to set your watch to? And how would you know that value is correct for your location? Genuine questions as I’m interested in why you might want to do this.
I’ve been using version 3.22.18 for a couple of weeks now.
The good news is that treadmill mode is finally working properly, but unfortunately, the watch is rebooting more frequently.
It usually restarts after the second lap during interval training sessions.
sooo i dug out from the bootom of the closet my over 10 years old suunto smart hr belt. it’s rusty, it smells like hell, no amount of soap can wash the smell off… but at least it works looks like if you don’t wan’t the troubles, go with suunto strap
I thought that I figured out how to adjust the strap for reliable HR during biking (super tight with nylon band) and then this happened (my max HR is 165 ):)
I was riding very calmly, had to stop several times (rain, mud) my actual HR was about 100 BPM but the OHR was stuck high (until I stopped again near the end of the activity)

Worked it out, it’s necessary to actually update iOS to version 26.1 to fix the issue. I saw the prompt saying the issue was resolved but did not realize I wasn’t on the latest version of iOS. Watch sync is working now.
@Mads-Hintz-Madsen no VPN here.
Nope, the issue is still there. I charged my Stryd last evening and today I had to repair it to use it. Another ‘dead’ entry showed up in the paired devices list.
@Stvrogin I get your point! I agree it would be better, if the basic features would work rock solid! I don’t know if that’s at all possible in such complex devices, though. But I can understand, that’s annoying if things don’t work.
