Regarding the full discharge/recharge cycle: I actually already tried this exact process a week ago, based on advice I found in another forum thread. Unfortunately it didn’t change anything for me, the drain rate went right back to the same level afterward. I have been considering sending the watch in for service, but it’s no longer under warranty — which is honestly what frustrates me most about this. The watch is barely two years old, and this issue only appeared after a software update, not from any wear or misuse on my end. Has anyone had luck getting Suunto to acknowledge this as a software-side issue rather than treating it as a standard out-of-warranty repair?

@VoiGAS thanks!! I’ll look into it. My hope is to get him thinking about training sessions using RPE first, and HR as secondary feedback. So this might be the way I go.

I don’t know about the Vertical 2, but the charger on my Race s is quite tricky to get aligned right. You always have to turn the charger a bit to get it right and the watch starts charging. When the watch is on you at least get instant feedback, but when it’s of, it’s more of a problem. You could try to rotate the charging puck a bit and see if it starts charging.

I’ve had my V2 since mid October and so far not a single crash. I always run 3 S+ non-third party apps. No other issues either.

@Ldive No, only with the Suunto belt as far as I know. Only works with the same brand (Suunto-Suunto, Polar-Polar, Garmin-Garmin, )

@DavidCuenca Hey, About the GPS accuracy, waiting on shore is indeed a good idea, but you should try staying longer (12 minutes and a half precisely). Basically, all satellites broadcast the positions of the other sats in their constellation, as well as atmospheric conditions, this data is the mos up to date (updated every 2 hours, valid 4 hours) but the bit rate is very slow (Galileo has a higher bit rate and needs only about 6 minutes) : https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GPS_signals#Almanac That should be more efficient than lifting your arms ^^ About HR, the HRM of 9PP isn’t great, but what worked for me is to wear the watch a lot higher on the wrist (almost 1 third of the arms length), and have it almost uncomfortably tight

@adri12240 If you confirm that this activity has all data visible in your watch logbook, you can safely delete it from your Suunto App, and then logout and login again. It will resync. If still not OK with logout, uninstall app and resintall. Be under good phone network connection and all should be fine (even if theorically not mandatory, but…)

@skh8634 I would extend this monitoring to HR strap, footpod and powermeter. HR belt might get lost not very easily but footpod happened to me once (Stryd) as the clip was worn out and powermeter would be nice as I lost connection during a break on the weekend and some two hours of cycling power data / cadence were not recorded. Wahoo (ANT+) recorded all data, so it must have been the connection to the watch…

Ok, seems like the watch only renders 12 points, not 96… For now I’ll use a stepped line.

@Marco-Gabardi watch face issues are independent from firmware updates. I think it’s not a priority to fix it

@nomison maybe it is a bug or unexpected behavior. No matter what it is I do not expected will be updated. Our Vertical 1 is now out of date with bugs and potential improvements.

@Miquel-Debón Since a few months you can choose what is visible in the lower field on the map. You can choose multiple and toggle between your options. Very useful! I have mainly Heart Rate and Distance to next point on it

@leo250461 you can customize the widget order and enable/disable them in the Suunto App. It is easy to have alarm on top of the list
