@dimitrios-kanellopoulos I understand that. All values can be shown, I just wish the most likely errorneous values are not counted in average. Other solution is to let us “paint” areas of the HR graph in SA and see avg HR from that selection. Just like in Movescount. [image: 1626404427197-e63d2354-1404-4c0c-881d-eb0d22f757d7-image.png] Otherwise it is a drag to to get decent average HR when the HR belt (or wrist HR) has gone berserk.

@isazi I don’t know but on days like today it’s as good as sanely possible I guess: [image: 1626290775734-screenshot_20210714-212451.png] It’s funny because the more accurate GNSS systems get, the more sophisticated filtering systems will have to be to smooth out arms movement and other receiver related noise.

@matt216 I had the same issue and finally managed to update my S5, by finding the correct setting in Virt Manager. Which virtualization software are you using?

I just finished a run prior to heavy rain, with a rather dense cloud cover and I had standby turned on. This is really fantastic for readability - it makes a huge difference between seeing sky reflected on the screen and the actual screen without too much brightness that would be typical with regular backlight. It’s perfect amount of backlight to amplify the contrast just a little bit to get the glare off the glass. I’d love to have standby easily accessible either by a shortcut or in workout settings but even now I see it’s worth digging through the settings to activate the standby light if the weather is poor.

@tomas5 @Brad_Olwin Afair target doesn’t work as a unique activity for multisport. I found this behaviour some time ago and I think it was never changed Edit Found it https://forum.suunto.com/topic/1007/training-intensity-target-zones-issue-for-multisport-activity?_=1625518405978

@telcontar Try re-installing the latest firmware. If that doesn’t help i’m afraid you have to contact Suunto support.

@łukasz-szmigiel gps + galileo looks best. With manual pause. I did exactly same hike today as few months ago. Now distance is correct and accuracy quite good. I see zig-zag on route but it is not much and didn’t increase distance so it is ok. And even elevation and ascend descent was correct. I must say after some time i am happy with result. Edited: i use gps + galileo

@smc123 I am almost sure that my watch are not faulty, because on bike I get really good accuracy. Only while hiking when there are hills and trees around, accuracy is worst. Maybe Ambit 2s was better thanks to compass ? If there was some algorithm to smooth track recording based on compass too ? It is just my guess.

@vicoongrou Never tried and will never attempt to but the general advice is indeed to avoid pressing button underwater. I used a lot of watches in high speed water sports. All 100m waterproof and never had an issue. Although I lost an Ambit 3 in the middle of a lake a couple of years ago, but I guess that one is still waterproof on the bottom until this day

@sartoric Thanks for responding. As I’ve now managed to fix the problem with a hard reset of my watch, I won’t need to try the current beta. I’m wary of running a beta anyway as it’s likely to give problems with new or existing features.
