Out of scale HR values are counted to average HR, which skews it
-
On one run in the first kilometer the heart rate reading (from belt) was around 180 or so.
I was given avg HR 140 (by S5 and SA), but when calculated from the good part of the graph, actual avg HR was 136 (the values from the first km are missing from this avg).
My maximum heart rate in Suunto 5 is 170 (“max”) and resting HR 42 (“min”). I suggest that values outside min-max are ignored when average HR is calculated (by watch).

@juhis70 we cannot cap max hr values as the max HR calc for 99% of the users is wrong. So better be able to see a max hr

@dimitrios-kanellopoulos I understand that. All values can be shown, I just wish the most likely errorneous values are not counted in average.
Other solution is to let us “paint” areas of the HR graph in SA and see avg HR from that selection. Just like in Movescount.
Otherwise it is a drag to to get decent average HR when the HR belt (or wrist HR) has gone berserk.
