@andreas-scheucher Hi, I am using a Wahoo Tickr Fit, which I can recommend highly, due to the consistent and reliable measurements - even during medical examinations the values where rather identical with the ones from the professional / medical equipment, due to the very comfortable way I can use it in all conditions and for a rather unlimited time, and last but not least because of the good operating time with approx 30 hrs. A friend of mine is using the Polar OH-1+ (new version), which is very good, too, and better if you want to use such a device while swimming. As these sensors are not that much more expensive than the one you consider, I would recommend the Wahoo or Polar.

@mdzott Thanks, yes, that was the problem in that she didn’t have a computer. She found someone with a computer to help her so all is good now.

@wakarimasen I agree with the others here, the S7 would be an addition adding a lot of extra features and as long as you don’t need more than ~15h of continuous GPS tracking it will serve as a backup.

To be fair , it’s not the only site/app with this problem. Unfortunately the “need” to have multiple login method lead to this

I connected another watch the same model and it works. The question is, can I have two hours connected at a time, according to the system of using one once and another the next? This goes smoothly on the cable. I wouldn’t want to lie for an hour, but to use both alternately.

@lohtse said in Ambit 3 Peak : Keep Movescount or change for SUUNTO app ?: Movescount works and works almost perfectly for mosts of us and fits are needs… Suunto App DOES NOT COME CLOSE to meeting the needs and functionality of movescount… exactly!

I think I solved this! I signed out of the app, deleted all user data from my phone, signed back in and the missing activity sync’d up!

@jurjen agreed, but have to remember that recovery doesn’t necessarily mean stop don’t do any more, it just means take it easy, as can still do recovery runs etc, trick is just not putting out too much effort.

No mention of Suuntolink, so your Ambit must be Ambit3? Not sure whether it’s noted on any of digital transition pages, but after re-installing Suunto App it should pull all existing activities from your watch, even if those were previously synced. Another option is to sync with Suuntolink & cable, first making sure you have configured it to use your current Suunto App account.

@ricardo-ciaffoni Hello there and welcome! Right now this isn’t possible for Ambits, but we all hope at some point this feature will be available for Ambit users too. At this stage of Suuntos digital service transition, POIs stored on your watch are visible on Movescount website only, after you sync your watch with SuuntoLink via cable.

@louis1945 Could it be that your body metrics are incorrectly set in the watch? Weight, min/max hr, age etc?

@mvpereira I used a Polar OH1+ (which is fundamentally the same as the Verity) by wearing it on the same wrist as the Ambit3 and found that the signal travelled 2-3cm under water and thus the connection remained if I wore them close enough together. I’m now using a Fenix 3 on which Garmin have disabled recording of HR when swimming and I use the OH1 in recording mode, export the file from Polar Flow after the swim and then add it to my swim workout in TrainingPeaks - TrainingPeaks then combines the HR and the swim details from the Fenix 3. Either option should work for the Ambit3.
