@Egika ok Yesterday I started the barometer with the climbing function and the Climb widget. It works, but it would be nice if they only did the activity with the barometer function! It works, though! Go app-caving!

@cheetah694 That setting should relate to the Suunto app only (for when you record an activity with the app, not your watch) and shouldn’t matter for exercises recorded with a watch. The watch uses the barometer all the time and constantly uses the FusedAlti algorithm to automatically calibrate it with GPS.
@Squirrel not sure how Suunto does numbering here. But logic says that 2.46 should be ahead of 2.44. But who knows And user manual refers to wheel size calibration in settings, but it is not there at least for my Suunto Bike Sensor.
@duffman19 said in Suunto navigation tendency to auto-reverse route when it shouldn't. Bug or misguided feature?:
I think the best solution is to offer a menu option to navigate a route backwards, so the user must knowingly select it.
I agree, happened to me today as well.
I may be mistaken but iirc that was possible when I used the Ambit 3 peak
@pavel.samokha thanks for the info.
I will have a closer look at this.
Just one question: for uploading to the Vector I still need the App on the iPhone? Or can it be loaded directly to the watch from the web application (PC)?
@Brad_Olwin suunto smart, i’ve tryed new battery and new belt… i had problems since firmare 2.44, with my wife’s race s with 2.43 firmware works flawlessly
@gogapo I had a couple of those naps while sleeping with my Race S as well. Usually it works fine for me, though. At least for overall sleep duration. But don’t look too close at the stages.
Interestingly the last two nights that my watch woke me up with vibration in the morning, it detected my awakening two minutes before the alarm.
@nseslija Thanks for the tip. Sadly, it looks like this problem has been around for at least 6 months. It’s been a long time since my watch was last rebooted or soft rest, so I’ll try that.
@Garageman
Glad to hear the tutorial helped, and also good to know I’m not the only one dealing with Suunto’s driver trouble
Nice that you could figure out the German Windows steps!
Funny thing — my machine’s in German too, so writing it all in English wasn’t exactly smooth either
Thanks for sharing the screenshots
Cheers!
Same here, I’ve replied in iPhone 17 connection issues topic (despite frequently reading the forum, I try to avoid posting meaningless replies so I have 0 posts count).
My message is still in moderation limbo. Please check it.
TIA
@sky-runner so I am not the only one who realized it…Was really confused because the time in zones did not align with the graph at all.
Should be a really easy fix in the app though by just defining that the zone values are always the max. of the lower zone
@Audaxjoe yes, I can also confirm the warranty, even for the new replacement product, ends as soon as the original warranty is over. It is only the service center good will to prolong it.
@Yves_ I was normally asking. I don’t know about this feature. Maybe it runs on background. I used this with Garmin, but that was clearly visible - timeout after finishing the workout and the HR drop value stored in activity.
