@SuuntoPartnerTeam Would it be possible for suunto to open a github group with example applications that compile and show some specific details. I’m mainly thinking about reading data from bluetooth devices.

@Squirrel Thanks a lot for the clarification! That actually makes much more sense now. I’ll record my CTL, ATL, and TSB values for the next 2–3 days and compare them to see if the numbers match yesterday’s CTL − ATL. Thanks again!

@domucki 1- no need to start an actitivy, but you have to be on the start screen, I’m doing dual recording with my watch and HH just because I want those Suunto badges

@Francesco-Pagano I’ve tried it today on a run with a steep climb and a long descent (too steep for me to run in any case). I may be wrong but my understanding was that ideally you should try to stay in the ‘Hold’ zone regardless of steepness - ie a steady sustainable level of effort. If it goes to ‘Push’ then I think you have let the level of effort drift down (and vice versa - ‘Ease’ probably means you are pushing too hard to sustain for long). I found I could usually stay in the ‘Hold’ position whether running on the less steep sections or walking hard on the unrunnable portions. On the long descent I found by pushing hard I could just about stay there - easing off quickly dropped to ‘Push’ I felt like I’d had a strong run and it encouraged me to keep trying and not drift off admiring the scenery. I suspect this is aimed at race pace sessions up to perhaps middle distance? I don’t think it’s intended for Z2 long runs for example. One thing I don’t understand is the score in the app afterwards - is this the % of the session spent in ‘Hold’?

@pavel.samokha Hmmm… on iOS i can’t select that. It is not possible to say: strava:yes, Facebook:no, WhatsApp:yes, and so on. That is not supporteted for the Suunto App. (iOS Info in Settings/Messages) Correct me if i am wrong.

@Divingpassion Any news or comments regarding a tech diving computer that cannot give you the possibility to define tank size? Not good for deco calculation or out of gas simulation

@soryp When you do plan like this or dive a dive with air on 50m. Do you consider the findings of risks with gas density, EADD? I would really like that Suunto integrated the possibilities and risks with gas density in computers and planning software. Usually people plan EAD for a maximum of 35m but no-one reflects about the gas density of the breathing gas.

Ldive A lot of us have had problems with the app and bluetooth sync, Somehow it looks related to language settings on the Nautic and phone, i’m putting all in english and had problems with my phone when in Dutch. After setting all on english, sync works flawless. So make sure they match. Start sync and the app should give you a green checkmark almost instantly when the Nautic is near and switched on.

No issues with Coospo H808S Chest Strap HR Monitor - great value. Previously used via ANT with Garmin Forerunner (also no issues).

@aiv4r Coros has the TIDE watchface. Garmin as well. If you are a multi sport user you need the TIDE info. Suunto included the sport mode “surf”, thank you. But you need to know the tide as well for you surf spot when you are out there in the line up.

We all do need the TIDE info. It is a basic function for all sport watches.

The “Resources” indicator is not compatible with the RUN model, instead there is the “Recovery” indicator.

The latest information I found on the Suunto website (Fr) concerns 3.26.20 Staged update starting on June 2nd, 2026 This update brings a new feature and bug fixes New feature: Added training effect to the exercise summary, helping you better understand the impact of your workout Bug fixes: Fixed several issues to improve overall stability No information on the 3.26.22. It would be good if Suunto communicated a little more about the future of the Suunto Run. After monthly updates, it seems that Run is changing to a minimum. I think it’s a shame because users have reported failures or bugs. In addition, there are a lot of possible improvements to be made, especially by opening the platform to third parties. Please Suunto we are waiting for news.
