Since Suunto still shows no meaningful response and reports of Nautic issues keep piling up, I have now reported the Nautic through the European product safety system as a potentially dangerous product. Given the false mandatory gas-time alarms and other incorrect dive data, I think an independent safety review is overdue. I’ll keep you updated. @2b2bff it happens the same to me, but I haven’t understand the pattern yet. Sometimes I see only one activity type, sometimes more than one. The only thing I have discovered is that the summary discards always at least one activity, it is never complete.

New version pushed with one change to use a median of 3 rule on the acceleration - ignores single-sample spikes and should smooth out the power readings. I’ve also added text in the description to say that so far I only know of 9PP and above watches being able to run it. @phck9b let me know how you get on with your S9B.

@colakovitz You just need it for the pairing (initial connection), afterwards not. Eats a lot of battery…

@Elipsus Ultimately, it doesn’t really matter. According to Suunto’s specifications, the Core 1 watch could be used at depths of up to 10 meters. You can even use the buttons underwater. This has been tested many times without damaging the watch. Whereas, according to these specifications, the Core 2 can be used at depths of up to 2 meters only. So, it’s a hardware downgrade. This was confirmed in an email exchange with Suunto support.

@zhangschmidt while looking for some material in order to get back some old movescount features like training plan I stumbled uppon what maybe was your site. You had a lot of material, which unfortunately is not up anymore, if you still have some of them ,specially in what would concern movescount training plans I would be keen to have it to see if I can reproduce something.

@Martin-Tuharský Hi Same issue here. 4 Days old Race 2 watch updated to the latest firmware on day one rebooted twice. Luckily only in time mode and not during my 100km race a day ago therefore there must be some kind of issue with this

@Sharkhugger hi, also had issues with too much ascent speed (bubbles were still faster ;)), hopefully Suunto will fix this sooner than later but wanted to ask about other topic, you wrote that you also dive with Shearwater, how’s your deco comparison between it and Nautic? Since I received mine I had one occasion to compare with friends Perdix and at the end I had maybe 1min extra for 15min total deco time, so marginable difference but I wonder how that goes when used by same diver

On my Race S, black grids occur at least once on every walk or hike. I have not noticed a change in frequency over several watch updates.

@paul28 I recently started using the suunto+ stryd app on my race s and was puzzled why I sometimes see groundcontacttime and other metrics beside power and sometimes only power. Now I know. I also have the problem that my heartrate sensor looses connection with my watch and doesn’t reconnect. That’s going on for over half a year and no solution in sight. There might be a next firmware update which might arrive in august but that will not contain a fix. And a firmware after that? I really doubt it. I will report this to suunto support to keep the pressure on.

@OutdoorMan Yes, but Resume later is requested here a long time and nothing did happen. At least now there is the possibility with Apps and volunteers like Joaqin. Better than nothing for sure

What do you mean with App is already open? It should work, if you opened the App once after you restarted the iPhone until you force close the app.
