Indeed no VO2max for cycling even with power meter. For walking activities, I use Hiking sport mode and do not have vo2max estimation which is fine to me. I préfère having it only for running. For cycling I have vo2max estimation from my Garmin Edge unit.

@SyntaxError the HR readins with the belt should be the same on Garmin and Suunto. I remember having read something about the HRM Pro+ here in the forum not too long ago. That said, distances should be about the same as well. If they differ by that amount, you should email support@suunto.com - possibly you have a defect watch…

@sky-runner I think it’s a sport watch as said I also prefer spm but I did not see any issue to change mind goal to use rpm (and cadence is one of the 4 field of my my data screen during all my run activities) Cheers

Hello, Thank you very much for your help, which has been invaluable. I carried out both resets, but unfortunately, the issue remains unchanged. I will have to initiate the return process. Once again, thank you for your assistance.

@Audaxjoe said in No more weather in my location (City) it shows district now.: England is a pretty big place That is hilarious! And it is really strange reading about the different experiences here. My own example has gone from poor weather data (extremely localized, but far away) to pretty darn good with the last android app version; which in my case now uses region data. I live in a small village. About 10 km southeast from this place, as the crow flies, lies an even smaller village which in itself is positioned 5 km south of a small town. That tiny ‘sleeper-village’ (population ca 1000) is where Suunto used to retrieve the weather data from. Since my village lies at 96 metres above sea level, the other village at 35 metres, there is a large lake seperating us and they have a high Horst (raised fault block; block mountain) immediately to their east side, the different microclimates often meant a several degrees centigrade difference. Rain, wind, fog etc also diverged all too often. But now, with the weather data pertaining to “Skåne län” [Scania County], I couldn’t be happier. Comparing the screen of my personal weather station with the Suunto Race S is almost spooky! The temperature, the humidity, the air quality… [I should underline that I have a good temperature/humidity sensor encased in a large homebuilt Gill multiple-plate radiation shield].

@fritzbt2013 said in Climb guidance 2.0 issue - not all zoom levels are available at the end of the route (see picture): I agree with the suggested changes, but they should put waypoint name where distance is Great idea about the waypoint name! The time is completely redundant on this screen!

@Josaiplu OK. I will not keep using premium version only to get my tss properly in Suunto. If that is the reason I could better skip to the free version as you mentioned it will provide also the tss. Currently in TP I doesn’t have my daily metrics also because Suunto doesn’t send it. Who knows what I will do. I still hope that Suunto will improve and add more functionality to their platform and I hear good news, web interface i.e… :-)… I like the approach of Suunto (using TP methodology) more than Garmins approach. I also noticed that in my hammerhead data of the activity, my FTP setting is not updated. I will look how/where to change and adjust that. As mentioned that Suunto looks at the max hr of the improted activity, than this will probably have not any effect. Update: not only my ftp but also the zones in my hammerhead account were not ok. I again aligned all zones, starting with TP, Suunto (both different HR zones for running and cycling) and Hammerhead.

I have the same problem. I can’t stand this behavior anymore — I’ve had the watch since October 1st, and every day I have to deal with resets and sensor shutdowns, especially at night when it should be monitoring HRV and sleep. I’m sending it in for service on Saturday. Since the issue seems limited to a few Vertical 2 units, I hope they’ll replace it. The battery performance also isn’t great: with one hour of training per day, battery life doesn’t last more than a week.
