@roblambell said in Imperial for miles, Metric for celcius, and per-sport settings: easily toggle between them during an activity (configurable long presses - with an option being to toggle units - during activity??), would be my preference! whenever doing an activity with someone without a watch, they often want to know a metric I share with them in a different unit so this’d be really great in that scenario

@Jamdog2477 I was a loyal Suunto user for a few years, I changed it to Polar and for 3 years I used a new watch (Grit X and Grit X2), my wife has Pacer, my daughter Ignite3. I got used to the lack of updates but I prefer Suunto, which I returned to, to make updates less frequently but without errors. If it appears 1 in half a year I will be happy, only one condition without any bugs and checked for functionality and efficiency of the system.

@sky-runner Suunto is aware of this issue and I believe working on changing it. MIP displays do better than the AMOLED.

@Egika That’s why I surmised in my initial post that DCR must’ve had a foundation with it via his experience with Garmin. Unfortunately, Suunto didn’t detail how this feature works, and I couldn’t find a calibration explaination in the user manual (perhaps I missed it?). I haven’t used a Garmin regualrly in about four years, and even when I was with that brand, I never ran on a track. So as I test it further, I want to be sure to explain any functionalities that don’t seem intuitive to the end users.

@Francesco-Pagano said in Actual slope gradient detection.: What about NGP? It’s displayed on the S+ Hill Reps app, why can’t I find it when customising a sport mode? It is native on the Suunto Run and I’ve tested it, works well. Would love to have this come to other watches as well.

@onemore I’ve yet to try it in a 50m pool… if I roll the software back to the October patch, that resolves it. I don’t know how it updated the other day as I’d turned OTA updates off in the app… I’ve now resorted to closing the app and only launching it to sync the watch and closing it again immediately after.

@vinci51 said in Tones and vibrations: @isazi Not in the main menu. If I put my ear just upon the watch actually I can hear a very subtle sound, is it so low? Any way to increase the volume? You may have a hardware issue.

@Михаил The problem was solved, Suomi decided that not everyone can use their products. The VPN helped. Replaced Finland with Poland and changed the language >> The maps have been downloaded. With crooked hands, it would be better to fix the pulse sensor and other jambs.

@sorinus said in Suunto Vertical: Bug Collection: I installed 2.40.44 (2025 Q1 Hotfix) and, again, Autolap got turned ON on Basic Running profile (only one that I use). It’s always the same after every update since I got the watch, Autolap turning ON and driving me crazy every 1km until I finish the run and then turning it off again. I understand your irritation. I am irritated after each update by turning off the laps (100m) in swimming and turning on the “smiley” feeling, which I turn off every time.

@Stefano-M64 correct. As most phones can also connect USB memory sticks, they are able to power them. And: Afaik there is a European regulation about chargers, that require them to be USB-C This is why Suunto Run has a USB-C charger. And upcoming new models as well.

@maszop For me it happened after half an hour of hike, in Serbia. Never had that problem before and I usually hike in that region often, and I was on the same track few times before without any issue. I’ve had hikes of 10 hours long and never had a crash so I don’t think that region or duration of recording is thr problem. I wouldn’t even mention this one craeh here if I didn’t saw that other people had same problem recently. P. S. I had 4 more activities recorded after the crash without any problems
