There is already another thread about that: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/13517/how-comes-this-run-is-classified-in-suunto-app-as-anaerobic I did set up pace zones a couple of months ago, did not update as 9PP didn’t get it till now. Calclulation in App is TSS ( r ) already, don’t know if this changes as soon as you setup pace zones. So I am curious what happens to my pace zones with the update. Did take them form runalyze but I am sure they are just a guess. So far as I found out, you can change TSS for all by selecting a workout and change it there and you will be asked to change it for all future sessions of that workout type.

I think its a matter of all the personal data entered in the watch. For example, I’ve done recently an hiking activity: 32[km], almost 8[h] duration, 2000[m] ascent, avg. heart rate 93[bpm] by HR belt, 2960[kcal]. 2960[kcal] are maybe too much? Maybe, but I was really (not) feeling them in my body!

@Matúš The app says the last VO2max measurement was taken on May 12, 2024. Even though I did the same workouts and used the HR belt, no values for the period after that are listed in the tables.

@MKPotts, it’s a 9 Peak Pro. Not sure it’s the update that caused the issue, TBH. Just trying to figure out what caused it. I’ve sent it to Suunto for repair. I’ll post their feedback here.

@tinten.addi It was 13 days ago (when I am writing this post), so it means we can see the updates no more than17 days. If it is true… the only question now is whether the watch will receive all the updates in terms of multisport and other features like the others, and whether issues such as the lack of ZoneSense during training and similar bugs will be fixed? So, Will we also get the same functions regarding sensors — multiple sensors, battery status, and so on? I hope Suunto has the routine and professionalism to ensure that, after we’ve waited this long for their flagship, it will be truly uncompromising and in no way fall behind — as this is otherwise a wonderful piece of technology.

@Gunnar no, as I said, this is not possible on my watch/with my phone. The watch for me groups the messages per chat and only shows the last message per chat. All previous unread messages from the chats are not shown anymore. You can have tausend new and unread messages in one chat, but the watch shows you “1 unread” and shows you only the last one. With this behavior and the cut off after a few words, the watch is nothing more than an vibration/tone alert.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos Does it share the same GPS chip as the Vertical and the Race 1, apart from the software 2.44.46? By the way a big bravo with Race 2 development

@timecode I did check and unfortunately can’t help. I don’t see any issues on the cloud end. Different case. @adrian-suunto Suunto 9 Baro has limited storage size, your workout data may be already overwritten by newer workouts data. IIRC you can check that by open the workout on the watch and see if workout summary has charts (like HR graph). If no then it’s the workout data is gone from the watch. So if it failed to sync from the watch to mobile app then it’s unlikely we can do anything.

@szleslie it is totally fine to report any finding here. It is not necessarily a bug and often other users know how to solve a certain situation. Of course it always makes sense to first search the forum before posting something, as it might have been discussed before. But noone will be punished if there are duplicates. I only know some bugs (mostly the ones I reported personally), so I don’t have the full picture. There is no public list of know bugs.

@isazi thanks for the explanation! But apparently then polar itself and Garmin use the exact same filter/algorithm (100% overlap of data, maybe already filter applied by the h10. Is that possible?). Only Suunto uses another one. Which one though is more correct… At least, the values from Garmin and polar seem more realistic to me!

@surfboomerang Thanks for the reply. 1: is fixed with custom sports mode, perfect! 2: a little annoying that i have to turn dnd on/ off manually, but mybe it will be an option to turn notifications off during workout, in future fw. 3: not good- button lock on, sports data pages still changing with a short press of middle button. A custom sportmode, can help, just having one page, or only usefull pages, that will do fine. Even worse, a force reset was made twice during my latest workout, im not even sure which button needs to be activated to perform that hard reset, but it did, twice, during handstand and handstand walk

Tried several things again, setting intensity zones to ZS, uninstalling and installing ZS+ app. No success so far, ZS still doesn’t work. Today will run with specific HR zones and will repair the chest strap again.
