@Inge-Nallsson Should perhaps add that I use a custom profile of the Run activity but have only rearranged data fields on the first screen, not added other screens from the default.

@Egika said in Notification sounds should be separated from general sound settings: @MiniForklift yeah, the customization options are currently: Pin a shortcut function (like DND or flashlight) to top button Pin a shortcut function to bottom button (only on Race) Pin a widget to middle button enable/disable widgets in the list when scrolling downward sort the widget list when scrolling down Thanks @Egika Hopefully that second one comes to the SV at some point

@JANTIKAINEN I am seeing the same issue. My logbook widget on the watch is showing 12h 17min for this week but Suunto App (and Strava) is showing the correct 9h 2min. All my activities this week are indoor cycling on Zwift without any pausing during activities. Even after soft resetting (which usually brings app and watch in sync), the logbook on the watch is still reporting some 3 hours too much. If you manually add up the time of the individual activities in the logbook on the watch then the weekly amount is the correct 9h 2min. I’m not sure if this issue has appeared after the last Race update or if it was there before as well. At least I didn’t notice it before the update.

@Audaxjoe said in Altitude outside of activity: That may be your experience but it isn’t mine, we need to be careful of making blanket statements. I don’t treat it as a religion. It’s just an electronic gadget, not without some flaws and errors, like any electronics. I write about my problems and experiences. These are real things that can be easily measured and shown. That’s what internet forums are for - to point out problems and try to solve them, and not to perceive it as an attack on someone’s beloved deity

@Mike-Walsh said in Problems after Jul 3 2024 Software Upgrade (Race): @Mike-Walsh After doing the walk, there’s a new problem in that you have to get to a screen that allows you to use the Top button then Lower button to get to the End screen. When on the Map screen at the end of the Walk, press the centre button twice. This gives you the Burner screen where Top button and then Lower button gives you the End screen. Jep the problem that you cannot stop the activity from the map is new with the last update and known. It actually bothers me too. But well, it is what it is at the moment, so you will have to stick to that procedure

@JVMT74 things don’t come to live from just time passing. Product management will always prioritize. This can lead to things not coming at all, even if the idea has been there for ages.

@Elipsus “its more about being resilient if USA decides to reduce the capabilities of its “public” GPS, or completly turns it off.” That’s what I was talking about. Before 2000 this was the situation: https://www.gps.gov/systems/gps/modernization/sa/data/ Now, imagine that we went back to it, and I think it’ s not impossible so I think it’s a scenario worth thinking about and prepared to. What would happen to GNSS accuracy who use GPS and Galileo?

@Joakim-Ågren Fully agree. At least it should be listed in the specifications. Preferably also mentioning how much of the 16/32GB is available to the user.

Getting an upvote from me - I put this suggestion in the wrong place, but clearly us left-handed-users would like more useability. I’ve a Peak currently (waiting on a new Peak Pro to be delivered) and find the buttons fiddly on my right arm at this time of year, when I have to wear long sleeves

@Brad_Olwin Wouldn’t it make much more sense to have it all set up as an option. Then you can choose whether you want that or not. Just find it really weird that in this one area Suunto is way out of step with everyone else. Always going to be a personal preferance.

@Ecki-D Suunto does not recognize any swim strokes other than free style unfortunately. Don’t think swim activities are a priority for suunto as this has been well feedback for many years now.
