@ab100 Suunto is aware of this current limitation, and if resources allow it this may change in the future. It is always a balance.

i may think that Komoot is also not exporting (via gpx file export) their turn-by-turn information.
I downloaded one file from my small unlocked region 🙂 and the gpx file doesn’t contain any wpt entries.

Probably, as @isazi wrote, it is a business decision on their side to share with partners turnbyturn through 2 ways sync, but not to export tbt outside the app/web for any other usage.

@David-l You can turn just the buttons off, I don’t like the buttons reacting anyway so I have both tones and vibration for buttons off.

@Anthony-Guillemette still, more ways to find the right maps are necessary, and I hope they will come to the app.

Does anybody know if there is a ‘past’ route sync limit with the Suunto app?

I have full mapping on Komoot with many routes already planned but after linking to the Suunto app it only appears to sync one route from last year. Any new created routes appear to make it over into the Suunto app but not a lot from before the link.
Known bug?

@mikekoski490 OH, and I just noticed. The .gpx map that I downloaded from Strava? The one that correctly provided 0m elevation gain or loss when I created the route in Strava? Here is how it converted to when I review the route in my Suunto Race:

@Brad_Olwin Thanks, it’s helpful to know that it’s been noted by the testers, and that it hasn’t just fallen through the cracks. I realize that every new bit of development is prioritized according to various parameters, but fingers crossed this is such a small fix that it can actually get done.

A note of mine about my actual experience with HRV:

just after resetting the watch (due to calibration issues - there’s a topic by me, btw.) my HRV range has experienced some inconsistency, as the watch shows that the normal range is 26-30 while in the app has remained the previous one (23-27).

after a bit more than a week, watch shows always the same but app shows 23-28.

My little wishes:

a) use a bigger font for notifications. i am 51 years and my eyes are not the best anymore. a bigger font would really help me.

b) emoticons for notifications. really miss them

c) nice to have: more watchfaces or maybe an editor so the community can create new watchfaces

Out of interest do you get any intensity levels recorded with your Karoo rides within the Suunto App?

I have downloaded the app and by using RunGap I have managed to get a lot of data in there; just to see how the platform works. So far I have the training load populated, it is not quite the same as my Training Peaks account but I can see that the TSS calculations use different methods; heart rate over power and the like. This appears to be pretty easy to fix for now but I do not have anything listed in the Intensity section.
Would this be down to have actually having a watch paired with zones set, and as such there is no way for the app to know the zones in which to rank them. If you have a watch paired that has zones do your Karoo rides contribute to the intensity zones.
