@VoiGAS Not yet. Ray posted the photos on Instragram at the beginning of his ZoneSense test phase. Normally it takes a few weeks between extensive testing and publication of the results on dcrainmaker.com - so it’s quite possible that we won’t see anything here until December / January. Patience is required here - although I have to admit that the curiosity about the results is quite high!

I haven’t used it yet, but……I’m inclined to say ‘thanks’ to the developer and give it a go. Working out a time in minutes is really not that hard 🙂

@Rafał-Bełzowski 2.37.34 should include fix for the connection issue, but I don’t work for Suunto anymore, so I don’t have any inside information. If it works in garage, then the issue has probably been fixed.

As @isazi said, S9B is not getting any updates, and the only chance of fixing the connection issue for S9B is that it gets fixed in Shimano side. Also note that connection works for some Shimano devices even without the fix (don’t ask which ones).

This parameters in knots on the list in custom sports mode under speed or better create nautical speed group there
Also include AVG5/10 (average of 5 best 10sec runs)

Hi, I have an Update: last time I went for a run I’ve tried the engo2 again and as always I didn’t have any data available on the glasses. However I’ve continued my training and after half an hour I’ve noticed that the screen in the glasses is now working - since then it works properly every time. I assume that from time to time (or for the first time) it can happen that it takes some time (>5min) to get a proper connection and data available on the screen of the glasses. I hope this info is helpful for others as the engo2 glasses in combination with the Suunto Race is a really nice option for running training.

Autolap and manual laps work independently from each other, if you come from other watch brands, you’ll need to adjust. e.g If you know you’ll be doing an structured workout or manual laps, disable autolap if you don’t want those to alert.

2)This has been requested but still missing, an alternative is create structured workout in 3rd party tool Intervals ICU and it will display the step counter, hopefully this changes for Suunto own structured workouts, but that’s the current state of things.

This has been requested, but not sure when (if it happens) it’ll be implemented, might not be a top priority for Suunto, we don’t know 🙂

@cjanevate that is why I use the Race Pacer as well. I primarily use the ETE for the next way point.

I’m an IT engineer and I have some ideas for some SUUNTO plus apps :

A triangulation application which shows me 3 COMPASS information = The direction of point I started from, the North Direction and the direction to one current POI. we do not need 3 directions but just 2 however there are just 2 POI which sure : the place from where we started and a POI which represent a visible point with this and a goniometer it will be super easy thanks to the watch to locate our current position on a paper map

A super BIG figure display much better as the one proposed with distance, duration or time as SUUNTO do not propose it

@Nikolai-Simonov Hi Nikolai, I am eagerly waiting for a solution like yours. Sadly we have iOS devices but hopefully you can provide your app soon after the Android version. Thank you for your effort to give this option to our Suunto what is already available for Garmin users.

Too many posts about zonesense, I continue here for this bug (not related to race S as I have a SV).
Run with only S+ ZoneSense yesterday (removing climb app) and nothing was stuck. Tends to prove, like others, a relation between ZS and other apps in parallel.

I am 100% with you and personally do not want notifications as I train solely on RPE. When doing workouts I will feel better some days and have a stronger effort relative to RPE, when in heavy training blocks the opposite may happen. I think setting absolute values for pace/HR/Power is not realistic nor necessarily helpful for training. This is why I am using ZoneSense for most of my training except for short Intervals. The last set of Tempo Intervals I did was perfectly aligned with ZS.
