@enriqueescoms Font size could be increased a bit, this app also seems to use incorrect font in some watches, fixing that should also improve readability. We’ll update the app, thanks for the feedback.

@isazi said in S+ ultra walking: @Wilson75 it is not a bug, if you have a Vertical in the S+ apps section of the App you can select if you want to save time or distance. It is not possible to have both. I didn’t notice this specific setting. Thanks

I think it is safe to say, that there is a loooong list of possible enhancements. From “resume later”, to “name of next waypoint” and not ending with the drill feature for swimming and multiple BT sensor management. So, yes, I am pretty sure that this feature is on that list (without personally knowing it), but as with other things, there is a prioritisation and I am not aware of an imminent change for the “next waypoint”.

@Likarnik said in S+ Vertical Race: Yesterday I used this app to test my performance on a vertical km. I was just a little confused while running, how do you suppose to know how much ahead of your goal are you? If you are behind it shows distance, for example 0.03km behind. Sometimes there is empty place (right on time?). And if you are ahead it shows NGP. At least this is how I interpreted the data. For me it would be more useful if there is time (20s ahead/behind) in top left corner. When I saw NGP I assumed that I am ahead of my PR, but did not know for how much. Am I using this right? Anyone else tested this app, what do you think? Nevertheless I beat my previous PR on that course by over 4min, so all good I tested it on saturday on a short vertical race (1km w/ 150m+), I started way too fast and was just trying to survive 'til the top after that. I gave a few look at the watch/app but was too “into it” to fully grasp or analyze what was displayed

@Antoine said in Race companion usage: Hello, In each segment, shall i set the distance of each segment or full distance from start of race ? Thanks When I plan the route with SA, I take note of the distance traveled along the route of the strategic points and then record them in each segment in the race companion. simple and effective.

@cjanevate that is why I use the Race Pacer as well. I primarily use the ETE for the next way point.

@Jananas Check the grade of the segments that you are trying to sync. I think Strava is blocking live segments for downhill segments, due to safety reasons.

@Sebastian-Wagner-0 a bit of clarification for the suggestion. i would like to get a s+ app that is called manual lap. so that i can use auto lap and manual lap simultaneously (which is possible) and show both laps in different training screens. At the moment you see the auto lap (when activated) when you use the native lap in a screen, so to see both you have to use a s+ app, but there only intervals with rest in alternating order is possible. and i think every time to see the lap stats (like tempo, hr, lap time etc.) is way better and you can decide on the fly how you use the lap fort fartlegs, thempo changes, hills that have different portion etc.

@Matija-S Yes, Burner for example should work. You should be able to turn on any app in rope jump if it’s visible in the menu. Can you click “Send logs to Suunto” in Suunto mobile app and send me the email address of your Suunto app account as private message? Logs may help to diagnose the issue.

@far-blue thanks for the reply, maybe they will consider this feature in the future, it can be usefull, and shouldn’t be that difficult to implement I think… Maybe @Raimo-Järvi knows it there are some plans for that option.

@FunkyLarma most of my workouts are simple and I use structured workouts in SA for those. I find it easier to manage them. Some are from training peaks.

Thank you for the heads up @Brad_Olwin It is definitely something I would be interested in and think it would help benefit the Suunto platform. Having read through the link @Mff73 referenced it is clearly on the radar for Suunto, so can only hope it moves forward. Reading the comments it is clear there is some concerns over stability but I think an SDK that was clearly isolated to local devices would drive knowledge of the brand and platform and could increase user base. Of course an ‘app store’ would need moderation which does require resources from Suunto but it could really help pay off in the long run. Regardless, I have cast my vote and wait to see
