Ok last update. After latest update 2.37.34 after observing for over 24h, weather seems syncing again good, its shows same value like in weather widget every time now. I think its enough time to say, bug is gone, becouse before it was freezing so often. Thanks for everyone who tried to help!

Today,I test my new changed watch 29 Aug 2024. There is no different between high vs. low vs no back light. Base on my experience, the black circle appears 2 months, getting darker after 6 months. I will check again after using 2months. Thank for all suggestion.

Hello everyone, I don’t know what I did but I ended up with my newly created account deleted… I’m still thinking about this and I can’t make up my mind. When cycling I use my Garmin computer and I think that a Garmin watch could be good for tracking on a single application. Now I just have a non-solar vertical in hand and it is a very beautiful object. Finally, for the record, a friend received a new Garmin on Friday morning and it crashed upon startup. So yes there are problems at Garmin too. I don’t use a lot of data but I just need it to be reliable. (step counter, daily heart rate) I no longer use sleep data because the big watches prevent me from sleeping properly

I believe still good in 2025 and 2026 at least

@Brad_Olwin and @RyanD As @Egika wrote, the memory capacity is now almost unlimited. Synced or not synced, phone destroyed or not, with any other new phone, i may think that activities in the watch will resync to the phone by bluetooth (except hard reset or FW update in between). Latest advise, don’t break the watch (except if synced ).

@Iggge It happens especially when I take it off my arm and put it back on after a while.

It’s normal for software . Don’t turn off the clock, keep it running all the time.

@Brad_Olwin thanks for info! I have Cressi Neon diving watch for spearfishing it’s exactly everything you want without a lot of functionalities…very practical. SUUNTO Ocean its great watch but I want to stay with SV ti -I know that in one watch you can’t have everything… and also i read in fenix 8 its very basic dive functions and mainly with mic etc i don’t know if it’s safe and reliable for underwater… Not my taste

hi @pavel-samokha , I followed the procedure and it works now. Before contacting this forum, I had made sure the status of the maps were “downloaded” on the Suunto app. Apparently it was not completely true, and your procedure helped to solve this issue. Thanks!

@Grundy82 Someone on Reddit had a similar issue They created a structured workout which uploaded as a Guide, then after a few syncs it woke up the plus apps list https://www.reddit.com/r/Suunto/comments/1eymt7p/comment/ljfx6w3/?context=3

@deserthike20 worked for my suunto 9 G1 old watch but bought new a year ago. Tones and vibration were on, power saving off. The 12 sec soft reset did the trick for me.

@Iggge Yes, on the 9Baro and 9 peak this was possible. Not on the vertical. You can only control dual frequency or not.
