      Dear all,

in my Suunto Vertical I do not understand the auto lap function when navigation is activated and have not found anything helpful yet.

First, there is an auto lap function which marks every km while running. So far so good. But when I chose to run a route there is also a „layer“ of additional auto laps which somehow feels random. It has no fixed distance, neither does it mark a begin of ascent or descent. So I am somehow lost what those laps mean or if I have influence on setting them.

Hope someone can light me up!

      Best regards

did you activate any S+app or any guide ? Some of them are creating auto laps

@Mff73 Yes, indeed. I activated the „Climb“ App. So probably the auto laps come from there?

            Okay. Found it. Thanks!

Since I trained in relatively flat terrain and the climb-app needs 10 meters of ascent to start a climb, it looked somehow random to me.
