@isazi I encountered a problem where an illogical distance appears on the watch and in the iPhone application When the training is transferred to another phone as a file (iphine or Android) A different and more reasonable distance appears

I have the same issue - suddenly sport modes stopped syncing on Suunto Race S. I can’t add any new mode. Android app in the newest version 4.92.5. Debug logs was sent. Worked fine again with re-connected S9PP. Also started working when I do a factory reset Suunto Race S it’s rather not an app problem. Lack of backup creation came back… It’s stil a pain when something happen during creating sport modes.

@Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos do you know why a scheduled workout loads a custom power profile? I haven’t created one, or selected it, so it seems like a bug. Addendum: I forgot, I’m using a custom sport mode! If I choose the custom sport mode, it loads a custom power profile. If I choose the standard sport profile, it loads the default power profile… Updated problem statement: when using a custom sport mode, it sets the default power profile to custom, which prevents auto-pause from working. This happens even when no custom profiles have been created by the user, with no option to set the default power mode for a custom sport mode. Bim now I’m going for my run.

@surfboomerang said in [Bug] Battery estimates Custom profile: It seems that there are some bugs with the battery estimation. Especially for the Custom profile. The battery estimate is reduced by 1hr when I enable “Display TImeout”. I would suspect it would increase I noticed a huge impact on the estimation by changing the “Touch” setting. At 92% battery the estimate was 70hrs with the following settings: GPS: Good, Touch: Enabled, Display Timeout: off When changing the Touch setting to “Map Only”, the estimate increased to 83hrs GPS: Good, Touch: Map Only, Display Timeout: off Changing the Touch setting to Disabled also showed an estimate of 83hrs. GPS: Good, Touch: Disabled, Display Timeout: off I can’t imagine that Touch can affect battery lifetime with more that 15%. It doesn’t seem that the Wrist HR setting has any effect on the battery lifetime. Is it really that negligible? Oh, and a long shot… it would be nice if the impact of the Suunto+ apps is reflected in the battery estimations The display on the Vertical does not use much power, neither does OHR. GPS frequency is the biggest hit on battery.S+ apps vary widely in consumption so this would be very difficult to implement.

@mickywickyftw I think the WYUR is a really good compromise, but it’s another €70 or so. Enjoy the ride! I think that’s the most important part.

@mickywickyftw yes, snorkeling shows you the depth and the dives, openwater swimming is just swimming.

@Egika said in What are the 5 coloured segments on a Sports Mode Display: @badders said in What are the 5 coloured segments on a Sports Mode Display: @isazi Thanks. So I guess the triangle is your heart rate percentage within those 5 zones? Is there any documentation anywhere that defines these zones and how the triangle moves within them? please read the manual: https://www.suunto.com/Support/Product-support/suunto_vertical/suunto_vertical/recording-an-exercise/intensity-zones/ Ah ha! Perfect - thanks!

@isazi said in Lactate Threshold estimate: @seanvk no the Vertical does not. But, and I cannot say more than this, a BIG new feature will come soon to the app (not the watch, the Suunto App) that is relevant for aerobic/anaerobic threshold and proper effort categorization. Yes please!

@joelai Honestly I think Vertical is first Suunto watch that “can compare with competition”. I own since 2023 and its really good, and keeps better with every update.

@sartoric so how do I interpret the active calories in the daily summary? I always thought the active calories should match the workout calories plus add regular walking / higher hr than rest.

I’m also interested. I’d like to see the information field on map to be : smaller customizable (for me altitude would be a more interesting field than remaining distance)

@duffman19 yeah I definitely think their background elevation data is pretty off. It doesn’t line up with the elevation markings on their own topo maps. The top elevation on the climbing guidance is always below that their own topo map says, and what my verticals barometer says when I’m there. Which makes it kind of useless if you don’t know that the climb is actually 100meters or more than the climbing guidance says
