@Timo-Kauppinen You should be able to fine tune your zones as you run. If you have TrainingPeaks Premium there are additional ways to find your aerobic max. The other way is to use the Aerobic Decoupling Suunto Plus. Go on a flat run and gradually warm up to what you believe the top of Z2 should be. After 10 min the SuuntoPlus app will start and then run at a steady pace that you have warmed up to. If your HR decoupling is <5% (should be >2%) then that would be Z2 upper limit. You can set your Anaerobic threshold using the Suunto Plus app for that as well and that will set your Z4 top. Z3/4 cutoff should be in between those.

@Ultrawalker Yes, the non sapphire version. I read a few reviews and that wrote that the glass of the Fenix7 silver edition was already of very good quality and that paying for just the sapphire glasses wasn’t needed. Time will tell… The glass of my Ambit2 wasn’t t sapphire glass too and has no scratch at all.

@DF130 said in Crazy Altitude: @zhang965 I am close to sea level but on the 5th floor of a building and my S9P (not PP) shows -1m. Has been pulling those stunts all along (and I think my S9B as well, but would have to check). Might be that whenever you are “broadly“ stationary but not from the watch‘s perspective (b/c you eg took a shower, walked the stairs etc), subsequent changes in pressure then get interpreted as changes in altitude w/o any GPS correction as long as you do not start an exercise… Ja, I know, but I’m concerning during first 2weeks it shows 60m, and then it turned to -12m

@freddubai There are improvements coming to S9PP open water swimming. I do not swim much but I am aware that this watch is not performing as well as it should.

@freddubai No, I didn’t have the opportunity to use the 9PP during any kind of water-related activities.

@zhang965 said in Regular nighttime oxygen metrics question S 9 Peak Pro: I do use the finger sensor as well. My perspective is the optical sensor is NOT SUITABLE for a one moment measurement. (Not for medical usage) The optical sensor can give you a very accurate value for a period average but NOT ONE GIVEN MOMENT . So even everytime I trigger the oxygen saturation measurement, it shows a ridiculous value, globally the night max value is correct. It’s why I do use finger sensor to measure my morning HR to understand if my recovery is done. My watch cannot give me a good value at that moment. Yes, those are very correct points, nothing can be concluded from the individual measurements, just from the principle of the matter. But if, for example, I attach a small ball to my back that pushes me and forces me to sleep on my side and not on my back all night. And I see that my average night saturation has increased by 3% (relative). Then I realize that sleeping on my back causes snoring for me and vice versa, sleeping on my side free the respiratory tract and voila, the impact on the quality of life is great But unfortunately the maximum value is useless in this case, because I slept for a while both nights on the side when my saturation would be correct. That’s why I think the maximum value can’t be the only correct value

@zhang965 When this happens send logs to Suunto immediately and then PM me or @isazi and we can file a bug report with Suunto. This should not happen. It is the only way Suunto can see the issues and try to decipher why it happened. We need your Suunto SA username and the date and time log files were sent.

@Dusan-DDD said in Vibration notification: I did not find a way, how to adjust the strength, or type of vibration. The main vibration is kind of rattling noise, but for example during the count down in timer the vibrations are quiet, but still noticable…it would be great, if there would be options. You are correct, many users are not that happy with the vibration. The vibration is controlled via software (as you may have noticed comparing with the countdown) so it may be tuned in the future. I don’t know. And as I just mentioned options, would be handy to be able to switch on display to "lamp - full brightness and white background " with a button. Interesting suggestion, I think at Suunto are aware of this request. Also is there any way to switch off the backlight with some button, or gesture? I mean after checking time during the night No, the backlight turns off after few seconds on its own.

@cohiba1990 no. You can only set automatic DND for all days, but can just enable DND manually if you need it at other times.
