@Sergio-Nasi I’d switch a long time ago if only there was an alternative. Sadly, all sport watches are half-assed these days. No idea why, it’s a huge market, so there should be enough revenue going to keep things nice for everyone.

@Francesco-Pagano said in Battery drain - share your settings: Since the battery drain issue persists for many users, but not for others or it’s never even occurred for someone, I thought it could be helpful to share our watch and activity settings to try and spot some common patterns: Watch: Suunto 9 Peak Pro Software: 2.48.16 Model number: OW211 Hardware: 3094C4 Purshased april 2025 Before the last FW update, battery lasted about 2 weeks but now it goes 100% to 20% in only one week. Typical use is 3 or 4 activities (around 3h, mostly running) with Suunto HR belt and without map usage. During typical week, I wear it 7 nights but only 4 days (3 days in eco mode during working hours). HR 24/7 without SpO2 Raise to wake ON low brightness Daily alarm and DND between 11PM to 8AM Sleep tracking with HRV Discovery mode OFF Notifications ON/OFF 50/50 Suunto App 3.5.1 (20789) IOS 18.6.2 (IPhone SE) Usually, a day with 1h running with one night (sleep tracking, DND) costs 10 to 14% since the last FW update. Last weekend I got 45% loss in 3 days (only 2h training with GPS). Since a single charge lasts one week, I don’t really care that much. But it was much better before (between 10 days to 2 weeks with the same usage).

@Jaxxdu This morning I again had the passkey lock in the morning but the sensor has been flashing - so maybe there was dropout tonight. Just checked but it looks okay. Strange that the lock screen was on though.

@Samuli-Sutinen I reported the problem, sent the logs, contacted Service, and nobody really knows much. It was an old bug, which was fixed, but it is happening again to some users. The solution from service is to reboot the watch, which I think isn’t very professional, not for a 1 week old watch, they should suggest replacing or sending it back, not to reboot the watch every day… You can check this chat: https://forum.suunto.com/topic/13274/sleep-tracking-not-working-after-most-recent-update/11?_=1764343827621 I hope they fix it soon, otherwise I will return it, because it seems that is out of stock (the titanium version) and it isn’t clear if they would keep the discounts I used.

@Horizontal_2 said in A little trick for draining the 9PP battery quickly: Nice! I want to know this for the Vertical 2, haha In what user case do you want this? Not sure of draining the battery fast is good for the long term Battery calibration after update, for example.

Hello, Even after updating my Suunto Race S to 2.48.16, I’m still experiencing several issues: The watch sometimes switches to wrist-based power instead of my Stryd, even though Stryd is paired and should be the primary power source These issues cause incorrect power spikes/drops and inconsistent data during training sessions I still see ghost sensors appearing in the pairing list (devices that shouldn’t be detected at all) I frequently have to disconnect and reconnect my Polar H10 because the watch randomly stops using it or fails to connect properly Thanks for your help!

Hello, Thank you very much for your help, which has been invaluable. I carried out both resets, but unfortunately, the issue remains unchanged. I will have to initiate the return process. Once again, thank you for your assistance.

Race 2, Latest app beta version - my birth year is still a year off. So I set it one year forward to make it what it actually is. Not sure why this is so hard to fix?

Any updates on resolving this issue? It is quite annoying. As most of the people here, my activities stopped syncing after 2 weeks, and on the watch I also see some old cancelled acitivies. Can you at least gove a hint if you are on it to resolve the issue or where you stand at least? Sunto race S: v2.44.52 Sunto app on iOS: 3.4.0 iOS version: 18.6.2

@enriqueescoms said in Imagine if Courtney Dauwalter was still wearing the 9PP: Well, I just contacted the support service (which was fast and efficient this time) and they told me, regarding the touchscreen bug, the following: “Hi! We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience. This is a known issue, but our internal team is working on a permanent solution. While we don’t have a specific resolution date yet, we assure you this is a priority and we hope to resolve it as soon as possible. We hope to have everything back to normal this week.” Wow, I appreciate that the developers are working on it and that a solution is expected to be found in the short term. I pray for that Oh my God! Well, it wasn’t that week, nor the next, nor does it seem like this one… Anyway, resignation and faith.

@uddgren this has actually been broken for at least three FW versions, and I think ever since they introduced new routing (where it shows distance to waypoint and not next turn). After a while it just covers every screen. Bit annoying to say the least.
