@kamarasm hey i know that in Xiaomi Smartphones there are big Problems connecting a WHOOP device. This is perhaps a Bluetooth Problem with Android 13 and Xiaomis MIUI 14. had a WHOOP device cause of the HRV measurement. And it didnt Connect with Bluetooth and my Phone. There we have to wait for Android 14 the support syas me. I only can saye thise foremy Xiaomi device with WHOOP. Could it be that this could be a Android 13 Problem in combination with MIUI?! If this is probably here your Problem i dont know. Did you try to pair with another phone?

@rooldaa said in Quality Issues S9PP: Hi there, After 1,5 years of extensive use I’ve started to have an issue with quality. The lowest button started to stuck physically during outdoor activities when it’s close to zero or below. This is a progressive issue. It happened this winter for the first time and since then it’s becoming more and more annoying. When I do activity around zero degrees or less and when I try to finish it or to do a lap, after I pushed the button it doesn’t return to “unpushed” state. Just to follow up. I created a service request and last Monday DHL courier picked my watch up. Suunto received it the very next day and on Wednesday it was fixed. This is what has been done - “I have repaired the buttons of your device. Service includes needed gaskets, functional and waterproof testing”. The watch was sent back to me yesterday and today it has arrived. Excellent service! Regards, Anton.

Update. Due to share size neither Vertical or Race will be mine. I simply have to small wrist. I tested SPP and it fits just Since they did not have the titanium in the shop I have to wait two weeks before they have it in store again. One of them have the name Thomas on it.️ I may miss all the map functions in the two others but it must be comfortable. Thank you all for input and help. // Thomas

@vincent-mayousse said in Wrong heart rate ohr: So maybe with an OHR on the arm/biceps (like the Polar one), it reduces this effect, as le swing is less pronounced at this level of the arm… right, with a larger strap to wear the watch on the biceps the effect should be eliminated, but the watch itself would be hard to read, an HR belt is definitely the best choice.

@larrybbaker said in Sunrise & Sunset on stock face: @Egika I do not have a S9PP - but in my vertical with this watch face it updates/switches to the sunset/sunrise time correctly. When I have switched to the others - they all update correctly also from what I can tell… daytime it shows sunset and after sunset it shows sunrise. Listen to this Suunto team and employees! Is it difficult to replicate this behavior in Suunto 9 Peak Pro?

@MKPotts I didn’t use Runanalyze before, thank you for showing me another distraction from my work The problem is definitely caused by static electricity otherwise the belt works very well after almost 4 years! On another run when the HR was bad for the first 30 minutes or so, ZoneSense shows absolutely nothing for that part, which is a fairly correct behaviour I think. And you’re right, Runanalyze shows a very large scatter: [image: 1738755482327-4d1327b1-5aeb-4ac2-91ba-da02419335ca-image.png]

@Brad_Olwin would be great if we could get customisable faces on the s9. I really like the style of the toggle watch face which currently only shows date and battery charge and is not of much use. If that had time and a couple more parameters on it, it would be the perfect face for me!

When It was released I immediatly felt in love with the S9p design (and so with S9pp after)…for my wife ! Perfeclty fit’s her small wrist, very light. But for me, screen is definitively too small. But coming from S9B, my SV is so much light and less bulkier ! Perfect size ! [image: 1710316525649-img_9497.jpg]

@Timo-Kauppinen You should be able to fine tune your zones as you run. If you have TrainingPeaks Premium there are additional ways to find your aerobic max. The other way is to use the Aerobic Decoupling Suunto Plus. Go on a flat run and gradually warm up to what you believe the top of Z2 should be. After 10 min the SuuntoPlus app will start and then run at a steady pace that you have warmed up to. If your HR decoupling is <5% (should be >2%) then that would be Z2 upper limit. You can set your Anaerobic threshold using the Suunto Plus app for that as well and that will set your Z4 top. Z3/4 cutoff should be in between those.

@enriqueescoms well, it is certainly hard to have one interface that suits small and larger watches. There are places - like in the new vertical navigation - that reading the grade while having the watch mounted on the handlebar is unlikely when in motion. It seems as if the tooth at the bottom was super large but the area in the top - very small to accommodate all the data. There is a large disproportion between the two. Perhaps it’s going to be improved in the future as it’s the very first public version.

@Brad_Olwin I don’t think its about whether we agree or not, but where the general market is. And I guess the only way one can establish traction on whether a data-heavy, questionable accuracy (Garmin) vs a data-lite (Suunto) approach works is through the bottom-line. Curious how it evolves - interesting times indeed!

@alfredzhong What matters to me is GPS tracking time, I don’t care if I have to charge once a week or every other week. I did a recent 100 mile (162k) ultra with the 9PP and at 34h (yes I was slow) I still had battery life left. I used the watch on Performance mode with a route loaded. Quite happy with that. This was on a pre-release version of the firmware that will be coming.

@vjakub the calibration itself is not influenced. Just under the jacket there is a high probability that during movement air pressure building up periodically inside of the jacket. Thus generating noise in the barometric sensor signal.
