    Suunto app has gone from bad to worse for me...

      For the past few weeks, like so many others, I cannot synch my activities to the app. After much trouble shooting and doing everything that has been recommended, I still can’t get a complete synch and if I use a heart rate monitor for a workout, the activity will not be added. I have noticed that if I do an activity with just the watch, which I prefer not to do, it will synch to the app.
      Now, after deleting and reinstalling the app in an attempt to fix the synch issue, the app won’t even update from the data that I have successfully synched from my past workouts! The week, month, year or anything else for the workouts that have already been synced in the past remains blank. I see the entries on the app calendar, I know they are there, but the info is not being added.

      I have always loved my suunto watches and while the software side of the product was a been a bit weak, now it’s just flat out bad.

      Suggestions before I search for other options?

        @lcockrell Suunto PMs won’t learn. Their previous FW update before the Christmas was a flop. Now they roll out a mandatory (sic) iOS app update before the vacation season in Finland, and it turned out to be a flop too. 🤷 There will be no one to look into this for the rest of the month or so. The funny thing is, my watch and app worked best on the day of purchase. If I could look into the future, I would just lock the watch and the phone on those versions… What they don’t like to hear over here, but what I hear from other Suunto users, is that people mostly don’t care about new feature, watch faces, etc. They just want existing features to function flawlessly. Ah well.

          I have a 9PP too, with latest FW and latest Suunto App.
          It does sync w/o problems at the moment.

          @lcockrell does your watch show up at all in the app and what does it tell?
