@Simone-Marchi As if the above wasn’t long enough, do you have the following slow response issue with the SSU? The route/map screen is way too slow to stabilise on raising wrist to view. I don’t know whether it’s the accelerometer, compass or GPS squabbling, or screen drawing speed but, when wanting a quick orientation reference, I find myself waiting for my Spartan’s route screen to stabilise, find North, doubt itself, move my location 50m, reset its aspect, move me again and demand compass recalibration.

Update* I received an email from Suunto today. The watch is fixed and sent back to me today via DHL. ohr chip, sensor flex and accumulator replaced according to the Service Note. Roughly 2 week turnaround. Hopefully thats my only Suunto glitch and I can enjoy logging workouts again. Many thanks for all the replies here with help and advice.

Not any button. Otherwise it would not be possible to switch on the light to see the time at night… Going into the exercise screen (watch looking for GPS) definitely ends sleep recording.

I highly doubt any changes to this will come, can’t even recall when the latest update for the Spartans was.

@Jan-Polanec I had the same problem and most of my issue with this is that you have to manually correct the data after upload to Strava every time and thus all your data in Suunto is less accurate. I recommended a Suunto platform improvement that Polar and Garmin already employ on theirs and makes life much better for folks not wanting to spend more $$ on baro watches. There are plenty of people out there that don’t need super precise ascent values during the activity but would like their data after to be correct for analysis. @Dimitrios-Kanellopoulos I checked in once more in Suunto App and on my S9 Baro, but I am unable to find any datafield that shows pressure. Also a graph display in sports mode isn’t an option. and Barometer trends in the watch face…couldn’t find it.

I didint change a thing: routes are the same, gps modes are the same… it just stopped couting. the elevation gain is now half of it used to be on my normal tracks
