@fazel thank you for your feedback, mine arrived today. I have the idea to wear it on the same front arm as my watch so it should be perfect. At first i want a classic one but for hiking it should bored me with my backpack sternum strap. So i prefer this one and charge it by night at my base Camp.

@freeheeler Hello, I was on a tour today and the values were right (reset the clock to the factory settings), there was a deviation of 10m on the first summit, 1m on the second and 5m on the third !! Thank you for your support! Best regards, Rony

@stefan-kersting i didn’t know for about 1 year either… it’s like a hidden secret feature… unless it’s written in the manual… but who reads that anyway …@BKtoo …a lock button in watch mode? sounds like a nice idea

@bulkan said in Vo2 levels: The Garmin only takes in count the running (not trail running, hiking…) and cycling and ONLY with heart rate strap if I recall well. Running with HR (no belt necessary for what I remember), cycling with a power meter. And they end up in two separate VO2Max values, one for running and one for cycling.

@nick-gian hi welcome. It all depends on your metric setup. Of course, the calories burned are only an estimate. Tell us more. Was it too much or too few? Compared to what?

@tfm1973 anytime. Its hard sometimes as this is getting complex. Just a tip , perhaps you even did not notice. While the GPS is on only every 5mins the track uses fused track and makes that really good looking and has great stats.

@mauser5826 This topic has been discussed several times. https://forum.suunto.com/search?term=GPS accuracy Suunto 9&in=posts&matchWords=all&sortBy=relevance&sortDirection=desc&showAs=posts A lot to read Most of the time you just need to wait before starting the activity or check agps Closing this to avoid duplicates

@mff73 I sit corrected. Reckon they’ll finish it off in the next six days to keep some form of custom-named point for iOS Spartans?

@matteobosca30 With “hour” I assume you mean time of the day instead of duration of your activity. If so, the only thing I can think of is that the timezone was incorrectly set in your watch or phone. But you should have noticed that before you started any activity because the watch face would show you an incorrect time.

I think this watch face specifically cause some problem because there is on other topic where someone make bug is watch and he use this watchface to. Personnaly i use basic watch (the one with time in big and me watch last me one week. I use it for musculation with HR, walking, cycling with HR and GPS (endurance, ok or precise) I use it to for me sleep time and the daily HR. I don’t use saving battery. My luminosity is at 15% and all thing turn on dark theme.

@Stefan-Kersting can you not customize one that does have GPS and save that as ice hocey outodoor (feasible on S7) and or use an option that does have outdoor GPS that you don’t normally use, then always use that as your outdoor ice hockey and rework the metrics so its more suitable for what you want.

@zavlak the S9 has sooo much more. Color screen, touch, optical heart rate, etc, etc etc. Just if you buy the model without barometric sensor, you don’t get constant altitude information. And you won’t get it with GPS either. It just makes no sense to switch on GPS for 15mins (it usually takes 12mins to get enough GPS samples for a good altitude reading), just to find you are indoors and there is no signal. The impact on battery would be huge and the data bad to not usable. It’s like you’ve got a BMW 5 with manual gearbox and complain it does not shift like your Daihatsu with automatic…
