In my side I bought so much strap for my Suunto vertical !!! The best today for me : 1/ Suunto recycled strap in black (9g perfect for the day to day and to wear at work) - not recommanded for swimmer; 2/ Suunto strap for suunto ocean: great a little bulky / perfect for swim and strong sea activities ( i will wear it during surf session); 3/ Coros nylon band in black : perfect / light but need to have little time to swap with another strap (because you have to change pin); 4/ Coros pace 3 plastic band (original black): easy to change / very light / not perfectly adjusted (Larger strap Little small vs the watch). See my current favorite strap : [image: 1744277768054-img_9534.jpeg]

@Chris_Dx I followed your procedure of cleaning with a soft brush after immersion and it worked for me as well. My barometer is accurate for the first time in 6+ months! It also does not drastically change altitude when wet. Thanks for being the one to try it first, I was a little hesitant to clean the sensor with a brush as I was not aware of how fragile the sensor was.

I have a similar problem using the Vertical. The Suunto App shows for Alpine Skiing that I did 13 runs (which is the same as my SkiTracks App)but on Strava it shows 26 runs. I have not looked at the FIT file. I see nothing in the Suunto App with 26 in it.

@Mika-Hirvaskari said in Suunto 7 lose credit cards & information added to Google Pay: Anyone else having problems with Suunto 7 and Google Pay in a way that the cards added to Google Pay just stop showing in a watch (says some error message about the lost connection and asking to login to Gmail) and could not be used or added again before making a reboot to factory settings and doing all the steps in setup including adding card information and calling a bank to accept the verification request? This started when receiving new credit card and adding it to Google Pay. It worked fine for some time eventually ending to mentioned error message, when trying to use it. Makes me appreciate payment services that just work without all these headaches. Been checking out PayKassma, and they seem to have a solid, hassle-free approach to online payments. Worth a look: [link removed] I ran into the exact same issue not too long ago! Thought my Suunto 7 just decided to retire early. Turns out, the problem was with Google Pay struggling to sync properly after adding a new card. What worked for me was removing the card from Google Pay on my phone first, then restarting both the watch and the phone. After that, I readded the card on my phone, made sure it was verified, and only then tried adding it to the watch again. No factory reset needed, thankfully!

Merci ! Björn

@objpath miss that, too. Would also be great to use prevously recorded tracks for navigating back.

@luke55 Would be great if it would (also) work directly with the Suunto App as it is already possible to pair the HR belt

@Mister-PYC I would love if Suunto had two different lock options. One that locks everything like now. And one that allowed you to do everything except pausing or stopping an activity. Let me do laps, zoom on the map, change to the climb guide on the elevation profile and so on. Without the risk of stopping the activity.

@Genis-Majoral Agreed. Little features like this would bring these watches up to parity with others.

@arpoodle This is in the manual, all you have to do is set an intensity zone for HR, Pace or Power during your workout. Not available for cadence but the Cadence S+ app will do this.

I’m using the apex 2 pro strap on my vertical. I had a nylon strap from amazon before. But it was far too rigid and got a fixed bend in the fabric where I normally had it set up. So I couldn’t make small adjustments anymore as it just jumped back to the bend. I wasn’t a fan of my apex 2 pro. But coros definitely has the nicest nylon strap that I’ve used.

Had the same problem the last days. The calibration only works if you are constantly running the same pace. Warmup, Cooldown, Intervalls - everything completly off Treadmill mode os not usable that way, a manual calibration for different paces would probably help

@eugeneus The announcement is something like “Heart rate xxx Heart rate zone x”. It appears to trigger when you change zone for a couple of seconds or more so if your HR is sat right on a zone boundary you can get a few announcements in quick succession.

@300319 Searching this forum is not easy - for example, in a sideloaded browser on my TV, the magnifying glass icon for searches is invisible… Logging in on my phone now, I could do one for you. I remembered the topic but not the exact words, so searched for ‘firmware’ as the subject and listing in most recent postings order: https://forum.suunto.com/post/155160 I believe that is what you need… Reading some posts there it seems you can mail yourself the firmware link and then clicking it on your phone, the Suunto App should open up and offer the firmware download. Edit: Here’s the instructions for the email usage: https://forum.suunto.com/post/152638 You use the text beginning with ‘com’ in some way… I am not sure of the exact steps…

@sky-runner as far as I learned over the last weeks this is the correct forum for your suggestions and feedback. As I learned as well there are some persons in here that work for Suunto or beta test for them, so I guess it will reach them…

@Sébastien-S Logically, the next day it’s a new activity. There have already been various ideas discussed here on the forum about grouping/combining similar activities to somehow have aggregate statistics. https://forum.suunto.com/topic/12236/resume-later-feature/17

Notifications is the only one for me. There are 2 issues with the ‘do not disturb’ option in an activity: When you enable it for an activity it then doesn’t disable after the activity finishes. When you enable it you block not only general notifications but also all activity-specific notifications such as auto lap, above/below zone and structured workout alerts. The other item I would have added to this list is disabling the display - but that was added in a firmware update recently It’s great not having my watch light up a darkened room during a yoga cooldown
