@Gavin-Greenwood what’s crazy to me is Suunto is still selling the Traverse on their site. If you bought it new right now, there would be no app to use and you’d have to use the busted MC site. I think that practice above all is what really leaves a bad taste in my mouth. Selling a discontinued product with no warning or anything about it on the site. I don’t think I’ll ever but another Suunto product thanks to all this and I’m for sure making sure everyone in my outdoor community gets the warning about all this.
@moe67er said in Workout picture instead of map:
I don‘t want a workout picture when I open my activity. I want to see the map with the track of my workout. Where can I switch it off? Don‘t you think there are more important things to do?
Same here. Want also see the map instead some guy running up the hill …
@LibreGenis In my opinion Relive is much better than the Suunto Movie, but admittedly, it is one more app. The reason Strava dropped Relive is because of the sharing Relive initiated, which Strava saw as competition. I doubt that the movie feature will be implemented in SA anytime soon.
@silentvoyager said in Where are the steps:
Traverse and Ambit can’t upload steps to the app - neither to Movescount nor to the newer Suunto App.
Interestingly, it records the data on a daily basis, but just missing the download to the app isn’t going away. There is probably no data to back the clock either. Thanks for the response I was expecting.
Thank you for your quick reply.
Was it mentioned somewhere that Suuntu is planning to add such functionality? it think it’s basic… even xiomai mi-band has this…(not even mentioning Garmin and Polar that already has this for years on a wide ranges of watches)
@Armin-S said in Only HR belt paired with Suunto app?:
In any case you can - so far as I know - take SportsTracker - Suuntos sister-app with same database. The results are then displayed also in SA.
not only use ST app to record the activity, you can use ST app to pair the phone with the HR belt, and then, only use SA to record activity (SA will now see the HR belt).
SA doesn’t have HRbelt pairing function, but has HR recording ones. Strange isn’t it ?
I installed SportsTracker app and it lists the activity with the same issues…
I do not think is the file, because in the details sections, the data is correct and it is tracked correctly on the map (in both SA ans ST). In the Laps section it actually lists the ASC and DSC…
