@Steven-Hambleton said in Watch faces for less able eyes: Clear and legible. Main big time field with six small data fields. Love it. I am big fan of simple desigm + data-rich watch faces. @suunto could you please add watch face for Vertical which looks exactly as activity 7-fields screen. With clock on the bottom field, day of month+day of week on the top and 6 customable fields in the middle. Five hr zone bars can be also set (only top one is also enough - for battery level). Should be easy to prepare because it already exists. Just like screen below: [image: 1763200668008-vertical7fieldswf.jpeg]

@TotoSun yep that could be really nice and maybe that during configured night hours the Race/Race2/RaceS torch light use a red color also instead of the white one that is too bright in the middle of the night IMHO

For running pace zones are used. For cycling there are power zones. For trail running/skiing there is HR. Don’t mix up different concepts for different sports, and you’re golden. E.g. for running AeT is crucial, for cycling they go by FTP, etc.

@Egika I did a charge cycle and a soft reset. Now with AOD off and raise to wake set to display only it works as expected (doesn’t wake up without a key press). I guess the reset helped…

Hello, Thank you very much for your help, which has been invaluable. I carried out both resets, but unfortunately, the issue remains unchanged. I will have to initiate the return process. Once again, thank you for your assistance.

Is there a solution for the awards? I’m not receiving any except for how many years I’ve been using Suunto.

@Audaxjoe said in No more weather in my location (City) it shows district now.: England is a pretty big place That is hilarious! And it is really strange reading about the different experiences here. My own example has gone from poor weather data (extremely localized, but far away) to pretty darn good with the last android app version; which in my case now uses region data. I live in a small village. About 10 km southeast from this place, as the crow flies, lies an even smaller village which in itself is positioned 5 km south of a small town. That tiny ‘sleeper-village’ (population ca 1000) is where Suunto used to retrieve the weather data from. Since my village lies at 96 metres above sea level, the other village at 35 metres, there is a large lake seperating us and they have a high Horst (raised fault block; block mountain) immediately to their east side, the different microclimates often meant a several degrees centigrade difference. Rain, wind, fog etc also diverged all too often. But now, with the weather data pertaining to “Skåne län” [Scania County], I couldn’t be happier. Comparing the screen of my personal weather station with the Suunto Race S is almost spooky! The temperature, the humidity, the air quality… [I should underline that I have a good temperature/humidity sensor encased in a large homebuilt Gill multiple-plate radiation shield]. @Ian-Beveridge Instead of replacing the Polar strap I decided to buy the CooSpo HZ9 rechargeable chest sensor combined with a new strap. Total cost including postage 22€. This strap gives 0.14 KOhm for both electrodes and for the month I’ve been using it there has been only one single glitch when the strap had worked itself a little bit loose. Otherwise it works really well for HRV data at high intensity workout levels. Unlike the previous CooSpo strap it wont allow me to swap the sensor for the Polar one so I’ve dumped the Polar and will be returning it to Polar for repair or replacement. I don’t think this CooSpo model can be used for swimming (not sure) - but I’m not interested in swimming for at least the time being.

Race 2, Latest app beta version - my birth year is still a year off. So I set it one year forward to make it what it actually is. Not sure why this is so hard to fix?

Same lag and black screen with Vertical Week watchface, going from AOD to full watchface by pressing a button. However, when I just use gesture, turning the wrist it behaves as it should…

@owend said in Dropping heart rate belt: I had a feeling this might be some sort of timing bug when there are pauses (auto or manual) in an activity afaic no pauses at all. That said it only happened once so far…
