@OutdoorMan said in Minimal watchface (feedback): @dreamer_ I personally just need to have a date in time only mode, because I never remember what date it is. And that’s it Totally agree. Battery icon also means you’,ll never forget charging your device but that is my feeling. I consider the rest of the things totally useless

I started using armband sensor because my Race S measurements failed, rapid drops, false highs. Last time I forget the armband used only the watch and it was fine. My theory is in the winter cold the OHR isn’t reliable for me.

@MiniForklift Thanks a lot! Yes, my wife proudly brought the medal home. At this point, she’s the ultrarunner in the family. Back to the maps: I think they’re very clear and easy to read. The latest update makes them more complete. For me, they’re much more readable than Garmin maps in terms of tracks, roads and trails, contour lines, and color contrast.

@bobbyfw03 Same for me. Probably the biggest annoyance with my Suunto is seeing how inaccurate sleep tracking is compared to any other device I’ve used. Really hope they put some effort into fixing it.

@maszop it’s still there in the last public version (6.8.13). Do you have another one?

@PhilBee said in new Vertical 2 - auto vs manual laps: yes i guess it must mean that coros record auto 1km laps since the previous auto or manual lap - but what’s wrong with that? to me that makes far more sense Nothing wrong. With that. With Suunto’s approach you can have an automatic lap on each km and an manual lap/interval whatever you wanna call it (in German they are called “Runden”) that are connected with some meaning. Especially if you follow a guide you might have something like 5 Minutes warmup 20 Minutes easy pace 1.6km as fast as you can 10km easy open end - run back home Each of these will become an individual “Runde”. This approach makes sense as well, doesn’t it?

@larrybbaker Only pressed pause, and start again 3 times pausing, produces 3 more running activities. The vertical 2 and suunto app is new for me. Last suunto watch was ambit 2/movescount.

Update: a resolution to this issue is already being tested, lots of improvements for swimming will be included in next firmware release.

@bobbyfw03 Frankly, I still don’t know who’s responsible for these Suunto Plus Guides, whether they come from Suunto or from Runna.

@isazi said in Edición Limitada, seguimiento de sueño sin frecuencia cardiaca. No aparece e primer plano objetivo de sueño: you cannot track sleep without H24 heart monitoring enabled as far as I am aware Thats funny, because the manual says: NOTE: All sleep measurements are based on movement only, so they are estimates that may not reflect your actual sleep habits. and In addition to duration, your watch can also assess sleep quality by following your heart rate variability during sleep. The variation is an indication of how well your sleep is helping you rest and recover. Sleep quality is shown on scale from 0 to 100 in the sleep summary, with 100 being the best quality. Measuring heart rate, blood oxygen and heart rate variability (HRV) while sleeping If you wear your watch during the night, you can get additional feedback on your heart rate, HRV and blood oxygen level (needs to be activated in the sleep tracking settings) while sleeping. To keep the optical heart rate on during the night, ensure that Daily HR is enabled (see Heart rate). But possibly that is just and old section that never got revised as new watches have been made…

I’ve been using a Polar H10 and Morpheus M7 with both my Race 2 and Vertical 1 for road and trail running and CrossFit and have had none of the issues mentioned here
