Yes, I have done this and it works well. Not with Race S but with Race, Vertical and Ocean.

My experience with the Race S OHR is very good, better than S9 Peak and S5. But I have no Garmin to compare and wear the watch tight above my wrist

I found that mine didn’t record for 1 night because it was charging for a while / off my wrist for a while, and since the OHR and the sensor lights weren’t on.

I turned off and turned back on and it fixed it

Also cannot change auto lap notifications which I have complained about non stop 😂

I don’t have this issue - in the widget menu and when you access the HR widget I see a second or 2 where it’s “measuring” and then I see a pretty accurate value. I do have 24/7 HR enabled. I’ve not tried having an HR complication visible on a watch face but I can’t imagine it would work differently.

I did used to see this behaviour on my 5 Peak, though, because it took time to fire up the HR sensor and get a stable measurement. The 5 Peak only used to sample the HR every 10mins.

The best thing is that you send it for repair, I do not have a link but I’m sure you will find it in Suunto’s web page.

@Brad_Olwin You were correct. What I was missing was a GPS fix as I was indoors. Beginner mistake I guess! Thanks for your help.

@duffman19 Thank you, made my day. The same way the Suunto 5 worked (via language setting) but somehow I’d not found it.

@Danny-poleg I’d go so dar as to say I’d prefer they turn off stroke recognition, it’s more like a random number generator.

What I care about, which might be different to you, is overall distance and HR.

@sky-runner you are right, this guide is not something that you can install, it is something that is there if you have Strava Premium and starred segments, no way to manually install it.

As for the amount of segments that can be stored, not sure, there is probably a limit but I am not aware of the number.

@UB2Run If you build a workout in TP, and the apps are synchronized, the workout will appear on your watch
