@Mff73 it’s possible. I’ve just made online repair request, got all necessary info and printed post sticker for DHL. Next day courier picked my package and that’s it. Took 5 work days to get it back!

@James-Wylie I think there is a way in the watch itself that you can look for things nearby (and actually type a search entry from the ‘phone’) which is pretty cool

I cannot deny it: we live in age of unevenly distributed miracles and wonders.

Another example that I may just be late to noticing:

It’s no longer necessary to modify (sacrifice) existing App POIs to create new ones offline.* A new location saved on the watch can be synced to the App, edited (BYO altitude, of course) and the changes synced back to watch. Admittedly, it initially shows up on the watch POI list without its edited name but, after selecting it, scrolling through its details and repeatedly swearing at the device in Old Ogham, the new name seems to settle in.

*That’s still easier, natch. And I’d still like user choice of coordinate format. With such creation on the watch alone, even, as legend tells us was once possible.

I removed the app, unpaired the watch. I reset both devices and then reinstalled the app and connected the watch and it worked again

@isazi I discovered another anomaly

When my watch was set to give alert 90 minutes before sunset it displayed “Sunset 22 hours ago” rather then “Sunset in 1h 30m”. I did not catch to take a photo of that message though.

@Frank-Stefan well, I am 53 and I am with you on that detoriating eyesight thing 😊 , but you won’t find a lot of sportswaches, with much bigger numbers on the screen. For me the Race screen is awesome good, while running. With 3 to 4 fields I can easily read the numbers without glasses and that’s really great for me. This also worked with the Vertical, so I am happy, that Suunto changed the fonts in that way.

@Brad_Olwin good to know this. I have had more than 6 runs with total distance more than 80km, some intervals and some easy long runs but no estimates so far. Hope to see this new firmware update on Monday

tags are a good way and it can be searched for. they don’t appear in the automatic statistics, but you can filter for them and this way get to your statistics

@David-l Well, yes, it seems on the reviews back then about the S9PP, not everybody had this problem but quite many people. Like I have said, it happened for me several times the day, and it was very annoying. I hope Suunto changed this mechanism now a bit.
