Honestly, I dont like default watchface of Vertical (they changed two updates ago, that theme color changes only color of lower part of screen color, two upper compilation ALWAYS stays white now), and also Solar widget is different compared to what we had, (now smaller with, “label” about charging state) I was get used to it but still missing old style. Iam just a Guy that dont like changes, especially with design for things that get used to.[image: 1734654754661-1725445685627-img20240904121633.jpg] But update upgrades technical things to Our watches whatt is more important! I LOOOOVE automatically calibration of compass. Since update I calibrated it once, and everytime it shows right diretion. Also seems like elevation works much better now. Like since update it changed only 1 meter of altitude in my home. Before update I could set automatically altitude, go outside, (repeat whole week) and altitude could be +/- 20 meters different. Needed to calibrate it with every training. Now? So far? No need! Good work! This tool getting more precise.

coming back to this as it seems it is actually related to the watch accuracy probably. tried this morning with both Apple watch ultra and the vertical to check . while the HR in vertical seems better (interesting!) the GPS was really flimsy at best my settings are GPS best, waiting 2-3 minutes stretching after! the green arrow is set and then start exercise . @Mauerwegler - Totally agree - in most cases. In this case, my zones were not correct originally because of the way my older watch worked w/ the app, but I didn’t use Suunto’s data except to load into TrainingPeaks (where they were correct) so it didn’t matter. Since I am now using Suunto’s data more I was just hoping there was a way to update like in TrainingPeaks which solves both problems - you can re-calculate old workouts with the ‘new’ zones, but by default ‘new’ zones only apply to future workouts. But yeah, I’m not concerned going forward - just had to manually edit the hrTSS on my first few workouts, but all good now.

hello, just to confirm that I have also experimented the same symptoms. It happens after having used the route feature during an activity. And it is solved also after a re-start of the watch. P.S. Firmware is up to date.

I have solved… The problem was in App setup in GPS permission: I don’t know why but it was set to use the GPS data “only when the App run” not and not “ever”. M

@pavel-samokha gotcha. I was able to get it all updated this afternoon, so it must have been the issue in the cloud as you mentioned. Thanks a lot! For future reference, is there an outage page I can refer to in case of future issues like this?
