@GiPFELKiND the resources jumps (up and down) are discussed here quite often and they’re not really reliable when you look at them in short time intervalls, like a single day. In the long run, they pretty much fit my personal feeling. But afaik no one at Suunto can look deeper in how the resources work, since they are Firstbeat „stuff“. I found that I can raise them significantly (about +20% ) while meditating for 30 to 60 minutes and there my HR drops to sleeplike values, so my guess is, that sudden changes in HR will influence such highs in resources .

@altcmd what I can say is that sleep will be much more reliable before the end of the year. And resources too, and maybe other things too.

I agree with you mate the maps are incredibly slick and recently helped me and a group many times on an overnight off track hike it thick rainforest find our way. By the end any time we would lose our way everyone would say to me what does your watch say hahaha

@Ultrarunner you can upload routes in GPX, or create them in the app, or send them from Strava, Komoot, etc. You can follow TP workouts, the watch beeps and vibrates at the beginning of a step. Stryd works, also the native wrist power, and you can use power workouts (natively, this is one thing that Suunto supported much earlier than Garmin).

@freeheeler True, that’s a good comparison. And in fact, I don’t remember there being a shutdown function on my S9Baro either.

I agree. While on a night ride I discovered the backlight options were either on or off!! Suunto, please introduce a graduated backlight with maybe 3 or 4 brightness settings. This means the watch face could be seen at night, but not put too much strain on the battery.

Apologies for my initial reply to you @Daniel-Z , I misunderstood what you were trying to ask. Yep as per above, have a look on the back of the watch and it should say on the case (the writing around the OHR) if it’s solar or not. If it indeed is then you got pretty lucky, someone on the packing line obviously didn’t get their scheduled tea break and lost focus for a few minutes

@Daniel-Z it is not possible to use other maps than what provided by Suunto, but in the future more layers may be available.

@Brad_Olwin well done on that race! Yes I had trail running mode on, but changed the battery setting to performance. (It was set to good) I thought it should then come on every time I raised my wrist? The Baro was more accurate in altitude and distance by a small amount too. It’s a great watch. But yeah, that Vertical keeps calling me…

I would love this feature implemented from the watch directly. I have no idea how in term of UX after finishing the previous activity… But I am sure Suunto UX guys can find something clever! On a another hand, Is the live track feature form Garmin could be have its equivalent in the Suunto? Thank you!

@v-sacre said in HotFix release 2.25.64: Version 2.25.66 currently downloading on SuuntoApp. Did I miss a post on the forum ? What’s new ? In relation with Suunto’s Strava segment announcement from today ? On Suunto website, it is mentionned only about openwater swim accuracy improvement Yes, and this is what it is about: improvement for OWS
