@PaulR7 sorry, silly me. I have reduced my widgets to a minimum and use the timer from the apps. I personally distinguish between apps and widgets and never noticed the behavior you describe.

@greku I agree that could be an useful feature, but at least on my garmin you edit the name after. But if the suunto vertical is like old devices which only allows one sensor of the same type then there is little point on editing the name after (I guess).

@runomatic That’s supposedly how firstbeat does it measures your speed vs hr on an outside road run and measures it against its algorithms. The speed your watch gives you on treadmill is obviously not gps speed it’s from the accelerometer.

@zhang965 That is because I believe this is all based off or is still using the first beat algorithms - and for Garmin’s this is how it works - off your min sleeping HR- which Garmin refers to as you RHR.

I think configurate data field(s) are preferred here so everyone can configure it to their needs. Perhaps with some kind if caroussel mode to avoid takeing up too much map space… During trailrunning, I use the map a lot to follow a route but I have no other metrics in sight. I always have to switch to the next screen and then all the way back to the map which is not very convenient. Especially now the touch sceen functions as pan option in the map instead of switching screens back and forth.
