hell i LOVE the maps

We know… we know. The Vertical is not perfect… yes, bugs here and there, missing features… all fair.
But we not so often really talk about features that really stand out and go beyond what current market leaders (garmin,…) do.now coming back from my first runs with map I just wanted to do a huge shoutout!
i LOVE how the map is displayed, the INSANE speed how it aligned with my run direction when I raise my hand. this on garmin always takes seconds of wait to really see where you are going. here it’s INSTANT. i also love the short/long press of upper button for zooming in/out. it also very reliably warned me when I am off-route. that’s what I need.
so, for what I use the vertical for it’s brilliant and I am happy to stick around with it as I am sure several other bug fixes and enhancements will come over time.
praise end, have a nice day folks

I agree with you mate the maps are incredibly slick and recently helped me and a group many times on an overnight off track hike it thick rainforest find our way. By the end any time we would lose our way everyone would say to me what does your watch say hahaha
